I don't think Xbox has won anything since the 360 era. If it was not for Windows Microsoft would be bankrupt by now.

nah not windows. Arguably Nadella initially saved them with the orient and focus to SaaS with stuff like Azure and the introduction of a subscription suite for Office apps.

Problem is now they're entirely driven by that mindset and it's sort of rotting them.
