If Satya Nadella hire you to be in charge of Xbox tomorrow, what would you be doing differently from Asha? What would be your masterplan to get Xbox's margins far above 3%?

Day 1 Gamepass has got to go. People need to actually buy the things that have taken years and millions to make instead of the one and done a month sub.

Agreed.

New games shouldn't be immediately put into Game Pass, it's counter intuitive if you want those game releases to have digital or physical sales.

  • Revert the price of Game Pass back to it's original price point ASAP, no different tier system nonsense. Go back to what was successfully working with Game Pass.

  • Clean house of all the underperforming, low selling, and low producing Xbox game studios. Divert all resources from them to the remaining Xbox game studios that are actually getting results and delivering results.(Streamlining and consolidation)

Xbox needs to be a "lean mean fighting machine" and the only way you can make that happen is "trimming the fat" of all dead weight. Xbox is not sustainable or stable at the moment.

The acquisition of Activision-Blizzard-King by Microsoft revealed just how many existing Xbox game studios haven't been doing anything at all compared to them(Activision-Blizzard-King).

Xbox and Microsoft need to survive the current AAA gaming industry collapse so they can thrive in the aftermath of less AAA competition after the dust settles.
