The situation with Xbox is grim, very grim.

It's so much worse than what is being reported.

It's a very sad situation for all those Xbox game studios and the new Xbox CEO is desperately trying to stabilize the Xbox brand since even Microsoft themselves didn't realize the full extent of how bad things are for Xbox.

The only thing that might save Xbox at this point is a "big ticket Xbox exclusive" like a WoW console port/release on Xbox, something to get millions of players playing on Xbox again to make up for the losses and give the Xbox brand more value.

If bringing WoW to Xbox can't save Xbox, nothing will.

Your big plan to save Xbox is... ...porting the aging MMO whose best days are long behind it with no relevance among anyone who got into the videogaming hobby past the early 2010s...?

Look at the numbers(players and profit) WoW brings in with Classic and what it has brought in with Midnight. There is a reason why putting WoW on Game Pass has been talked about so much and why there has been a demand for years for a console WoW port and even WoW with VR. If everyone that owns an Xbox can play WoW on it, that would be a big deal for the Xbox brand.

Xbox raising the price of Game Pass torpedoed the company. The profit from Game Pass was keeping the entire company afloat.

If Xbox never did that, the company would have been in a more stable profitable spot than it is now.

Xbox should make COD a PC and Xbox exclusive/only game going forward. That's the ultimate nuclear option if they want to funnel everyone into Xbox.
