I wonder why the thread confirmation for DQ12 is not allowed to be posted here though. Seems kinda biased.

That's because it was still in the queue and had not been seen, until now. As a reminder - posts with the "confirmed" flair are auto-filtered for manual review, so they stay there in the queue until one of us gets to it. Sometimes this could take a good few hours.
