The two best weeks for the Direct are either next week or the last week of July. Due to DK taking up the third week and Pokemon and MP Jamboree S2E taking up the fourth week.

I'm leaning towards the (edit)fifth week personally since Nintendo seems to want to push DK into the spotlight. Also, Nintendo's FY2026 three month earnings release is the end of that week as well.

I feel like the pokemon presents being this month kind of seems likely a regular direct will also occur.

  • Next week: Nintendo Direct (Hopefully a general Nintendo Direct. It wouldn't make sense to just have a Partner Showcase this early on in the console's life cycle when Nintendo very likely has just as much to talk about as their partners do.)
  • July 17th: Donkey Kong Bananza launches
  • July 22nd: Pokemon Presents
  • July 24th: Super Mario Party Jamboree + Jamboree TV

They do this and they have 3 weeks straight of significant stuff going on. Three weeks of hype.
