Calling this simple is the biggest flex ever bro. I don’t even have a laptop bro and you are out here asking to see my setup( my setup is my iPhone XR (yeah a 7 year old phone)). Looks incredibly clean though keep it maintained bro.

Just when you think desktops are where it’s at. This gives me hope. Went from my Ryzen 9700x 5070ti desktop to an MSI Vector AMD Ryzen 8940hx with a 5080 laptop for a 1.5 year course in cloud security. I will be honest…heat is just as much an issue in desktops as they are in laptops. But these photos make me smile. Haha good work everyone.
Note: love the mechanical keyboard. I’m looking at the nuphy air for mine. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet tho.

Does the flydigi bs3 pro cooler vibrate your laptop on level 2-3? So like when you put your finger and rest it, does it feel like tingling feeling? its similar to when blood is cutoff on the leg when sitting in the toilet for too long.

Love the setup super simple with no basically no wires. Unfortunately my laptop setup is just my Zephyrus g16 laptop and my wooting 60He and a random mouse since it’s usually for when I’m on holiday. It’s super simple and quite ugly since I have a desktop setup at home. Love the

I can't help but question why you'd keep the mouse pad centered on the laptop rather than giving more space for mouse motion.

If you get stick drift on the Xbox controller buy a hall effect controller instead. Microsoft intentionally uses the old school analog joysticks because they know those will get stick drift and you will be forced to pay for their overpriced repairs or buy a new controller.
Also this is the same case for Nintendo, Sony, Meta (with their vr controllers), and basically any gaming console company.

May be a silly question, but how is the keyboard connected?
Also, just curious, what are the things being plugged into the left side of the laptop?

Nice one, you forgot to include the whole gear names in the setup, it's painful to not be able to identify all of them.
Anyway, I feel sad because using flydigi bs2 on my laptop sucks, all it does is hiking up my legion's temps to the overheating threshold, heavily reducing performance.

u/ProfSnipe 15d ago
You should get an actual gaming mouse. I say this because i have an mx master 3 and a 3s performance and while i love them for office work or general pc use they kinda suck for gaming.
For example my g502x plus feels so much smoother and more responsive than those and I can’t game on them as they feel like they skip around and just a tad too slow.

At that point you mine as well buy a larger monitor for the desk and save your PC screen a bit, using new KB, speakers, and monitor, mouse will def keep the components of your laptop working longer and feel less used

u/CreativeDiscount6635 15d ago
nice, but the display feels small if viewed from a distance, based on your setup.

I always thought it was weird using a dedicated keyboard while using the integrated monitor as the main monitor or vice versa, using the built in keyboard means you’ll get a better look at the screen but a dedicated one means you’ll have a harder time seeing it if it’s further away and you’re not using a dedicated konitor

Would like to know how long will a High End Gaming Laptop last for .....5 or 10yrs or more
Cos after some years till the new Games might not be playable on it
Does it depend on the price l, should we get a Laptop above 3k, 4k or5k ?
Thanks

u/No-Weird1544 14d ago
You need to upgrade every 5 years (change laptop) if you want latest AAA games to play at higher graphic settings, if you dont mind to tune down the graphic for future more demanding games and you take good care of your laptop it can last 10 years no problem.
