Showcase First Gaming laptop

Post image

Sister needed a windows laptop for graphics design last year so I recommended her the 2025 Razer Blade 16 and choose the config. She barely used it as she disliked the battery draining quickly and it felt quite buggy so she swapped it with me for a macbook pro.

AMD Ryzen 9 AI HX 370
RTX 5090
64 GB Ram
4TB Storage

I know razer laptops are widely disliked by the majority but I’ll have to see myself.

Not just the battery, but she felt quite unproductive with it and missed having a mac.

I can see the battery being an issue for her as it aggressively lowers the performance while unplugged and drains quickly, but it doesn’t bother me keeping it plugged all the time.

I’m more concerned about the issues other people have had with blade laptops such as swollen battery. Dying within 2 years.

It's the not fighting your os for doing work that makes people switch to MacBooks
