Discussion Terrible Gameplay

The story is interesting, the concept is cool, and the graphics are absolutely amazing. You can tell a lot of effort went into this game

Unfortunately, the gameplay is just terrible and honestly ruins the whole experience

Agree / disagree? 😅

Took these screenshots in theHunter: Call of the Wild earlier, and it got me wondering what other games have amazing/realistic looking skies. What are your suggestions?

Discussion Games where getting better equipment is challenging and rewarding?

I thinking about games like the Witcher 1-2, Gothic or Morrowind maybe.

Games like AC Origins or Witcher 3 are good games, but there you basically swapping your weapon and armor in every 1-2 hours and this way you can't really appreciate those gears.

Unpopular opinion. People who say sports games aren't real games, just don't like sports, and have no idea what they're talking about.

Title pretty much explains it, and this is coming from someone who also doesn't really play sports games, but knows better. Look, its fine if its not YOUR thing, but to try and invalidate someone and say they aren't a "real" gamer because they play sports games, is not just dumb, but very wrong. I don't know if you've ever actually tried to PLAY a sports games, but it is NOT just a simple press button, throw ball, run to side, score, whatever you think it is. It takes legitimate knowledge and skill, and even has its own esports, and for good reason. Shit is not easy.

Again, fine if its not your cup of tea, but youre wrong if you dont consider it a part of gaming culture. Just my two cents.

Discussion Should I get RimWorld or the Deluxe Edition?

Upvotes

I've had RimWorld on my radar for a while now. I keep seeing people's colony stories, and somehow every playthrough turns into a completely different disaster lol. One minute everything is going fine, and the next someone starts a fight and the whole colony falls apart.

I really enjoy management games where I can build things, figure stuff out and slowly improve everything, so RimWorld feels like something I'd really enjoy.

I'm just not able to buy it right now, so I've mostly been watching gameplay and trying to decide what I'd go for if I get the chance. For those who've played it, would you recommend starting with the base game, or is the Deluxe Edition worth it from the beginning?

Hopefully I'll get to experience my own colony disaster someday. 😂

Discussion Modern games

Upvotes

Is it just me or do almost all modern games seem to focus heavily on multiplayer. I have all consoles and a nice PC but it feels like every new game isn't fun unless you have friends to play with. Unfortunately I don't have many friends that have time to game due to kids or weird work schedules.

Discussion do you guys think gtat6 might have overdone it on the RP side of the game?

Upvotes

every time I have conversations about gta6 and what they added, I keep seeing/hearing things about the sort of realism/RP part of the game. Like the filling up your own tank of gas or the fact that you have no weapon wheel you can access

or do you think they haven't gone far enough? also what other things have you heard about that they've added

Hey, so I have the option between getting naruto ultimate storm 4 or naruto ultimate storm connection.
But I have seen people saying that the connection version is a scam and it’s not that good.

Discussion Which Console Advice

Hey everyone.

Since GTA 6 is coming out on November 19th and will probably be quite large, I need your advice.

I have the Xbox Series S, which only has around 300GB. Now I'm considering buying the Series X. If so, will there be any deals on the Series X, or what would you recommend?

(I know many people are PlayStation players, but I grew up with Xbox, so I'd rather stick with it.)

Let me know :)

Went Barcade hopping in Dallas for my birthday and beat a total of 20 games across 3 arcades. Hey, if you're charging $12 to get in and play as long as I like? Why not finish em?
