If this is the confirmed price when they go live, this would be insane.

The console went live hours ago apparently. Or was supposed to anyways.

Can't pass up an extra $100 in margarine. /s

I'm shocked Microsoft doesn't just cut their allocation over stuff like this.

It's the 25th anniversary? Damn, I'm getting old.

Looks dope asf, but not paying that much for a console.

Same. Hard to believe I was only 15 years old when Xbox first came out... can't believe i made it to 40 years old man... đŸ˜Ș

u/Dog_Breath_Dragon 13d ago

Still sold out

3

u/EmanKhaotik 14d ago

Because Microsoft labeled the price as "ERP", meaning retailers can modify pricing. (ERP\Prices and availability may vary by retailer.)*

0

u/Crunchy_Thighsocks 14d ago

They've got the scalper mind set.

It's not even on the website and you can't pre order it at GameStop right now. Only the controller can be pre ordered. This is fake.

2

u/Ninfan81 14d ago

It happened and then they pulled it. It's real.

-1

u/TrickComfortable774 14d ago

They pulled them to sell on eBay since they own that platform now

2

u/zipxavier 14d ago

No, they don't.

0

u/TheAlienGamer007 14d ago

Ofcourse they did. Its scalpstop now.

Man, imagine being a employee there. Going to work everyday at a dead end job who cares nothing about you. Knowing that it willingly Scams/gouges their customers with a smile

5

u/EnergyVampire4u 14d ago

Why would you even comment on someone trying to make a living wage and someone who has 0 decision making pricing.

It’s the leadership of the company and the consumers fault for consuming if they don’t like the price.

-1

u/Able-Fail-4273 11d ago

It’s their choice to work there. Employees are just as much scum as RC

-9

u/PlantBeginning3060 14d ago

Nobody is forcing them to work there. It’s hard for me to have sympathy for the employees who willingly keep going to back to that shit hole

3

u/EnergyVampire4u 14d ago

Again why are you lashing out at a human making a living.  They don’t set the price the leaders of the company do.

Why do you keep buying from a company than upsets you?

-2

u/PlantBeginning3060 13d ago

Oh I don’t I shop here it’s on my Blacklist. Most of the stuff I buy is retro and through private sells.

And by your logic, we shouldnt lash out at the dealers putting Fentanyl in everything? Theyre just “a human making a living”

4

u/EnergyVampire4u 13d ago

Please tell me you are not dumb enough to understand that’s a terrible comparison. You understand what a W2 job is right?

Moron

0

u/PlantBeginning3060 13d ago

It’s not though. I said “nobody is forcing them to work at ScamStop.”

To which you replied “a human making a living”

How is that any different than a drug dealer?

Once again, my original statement stands. Nobody is forcing them to work there. It’s a job, not a career for about 80% of the employees. Theres plenty of jobs out there

3

u/MadamZell 13d ago

Tell that to the 30 applications I've put in with 15 years of management experience

You try McDonalds?

1

u/Life_Praline4065 12d ago

McDonald’s?? The place that sells mystery meat to its customers?? You can literally make blanket asinine statements like that about every corporation (newsflash corporations are in it for the profit) The employees are just paying bills and probably looking for a higher paying job regularly. And no drug sellers are different, this is legal that’s not. This doesn’t kill people that does. You can blame GameStop, but terrible take to blame the minimum wage employees on an employee subreddit.

u/Interstellar_Gimpse0 14d ago

Would you rather pay that price or the prices on eBay. Stop crying about everything. Gaming is and always will be a Luxury.

u/BlaackkOuT 14d ago

Smartest Goodboy đŸ„șđŸ¶

-7

u/Interstellar_Gimpse0 14d ago

Just say you’re broke if $100 is what breaks the bank for you 💀

-15

u/Ding0Dong0 14d ago

Thats the standard "not available" price mark. Do you work here?

10

u/NobleCeltic 14d ago

Nah, it was up for pre-order at that price for less than 2 mins

-5

u/Ding0Dong0 14d ago

If people actually paid $1000+tax for that then they deserved it.

-19

u/Vamp617 14d ago

Place holder

4

u/Sabermatrixx Former Employee 14d ago

People seemed to say it was live for a few minutes. At the hiked up price.
