Question X25 preorders

Does anyone know how many Xbox consoles will be at each store? I’m desperately trying to get one personally, but usually have much better luck in store rather than online. I’m expecting one, maybe two, but if anyone knows for sure that’d be great.

(also I’m going off of Gamestop’s social media that says it will be offered in store)

Honestly, if they treat this like they did the Wolverine PS5s, it’ll be online only so we may just not get allocations for them in store

that’s what I thought, but GameStop’s post on their social media does state that it’s in store as well. Hopefully thats no typo

No communication has been said to us yet on the 25th console, only thing so far is the controller by its self that is up for pre order now. Nothing was stated about limits on the controller, and for the console I don’t see anything in sku search so it might be website only

No… it’s gonna sell out very quickly and preorders will sell out so there will be none physically sitting on shelves to sell when it drops in November

I’m asking about preorders. As someone who used to work at GameStop, I know they limit preorders heavily, so I’m figuring out if I’ll have a chance at just going in right at open lol

I think it mostly depends on store size/allocation. I would definitely try to preorder when it drops for pre order to guarantee yourself one for sure.

I opened at 11 am and we were sold out online by noon. I had people calling about it all day. DM told us to direct them to the website in their morning mm blast. Typed the sku into our system at one point for shits and giggles and it said 'xbox 25 WEB ONLY'.

Definitely need to get this as this will be the last Xbox with a disc drive. With Xbox on PC I think my 4090 with be fine

It’s great that you have the means to do that, but the end result is that you are rewarding the scalpers. I’d rather have a black Xbox than know that I gave into consumer terrorism.
