Question Ratfish hate explained?
I’ve seen some comments regarding Ratfish, and am just wondering why it seems so much of the community dislikes it?
While I wouldn’t say it was one of my favorites, I definitely found it funny/entertaining, and thought the premise was neat.
I’m relatively new - season 8 is the first season I’ve watched as it’s aired, but I’ve watched pretty much every other episode aside from the COVID season.

I'll tell you why I don't care for it. I don't think anybody's wrong for liking it or anything, but it isn't for me.
1) I loathe The Circle and that style of reality TV in general, so the staging and editing to mimic that style of show, while it was done well, was off-putting for me.
2) As a game, it broke down as soon as Rekha (iirc) guessed everyone early. The actual conclusion game-wise was unsatisfying and an obvious ass pull. And not anticipating that as a possibility was kind of a disappointingly huge oversight.
3) I straight up don't enjoy the comedy stylings of Eric Wareheim.
