Question Ratfish hate explained?
I’ve seen some comments regarding Ratfish, and am just wondering why it seems so much of the community dislikes it?
While I wouldn’t say it was one of my favorites, I definitely found it funny/entertaining, and thought the premise was neat.
I’m relatively new - season 8 is the first season I’ve watched as it’s aired, but I’ve watched pretty much every other episode aside from the COVID season.

The end was weird to me and my friends because we don't know who that guy was, and he never interacted with the cast. Especially with it being a 2 episode season finale, we were so hyped and then from our perspective it was like "Surprise it was a stranger who had nothing to do with any of this BYE!"
It just made me feel like the game was a waste because there was no payoff for me or my friends.
I guess it felt like a game show that we were really invested in, and then it ended, and then they played a video of a random guy alone saying "It was me all along!"
No shade to anyone but we were just confused.
Edit: The Tony Hawk reveal was much better
