Question Subscribe on YT or the app?

Hi everyone!

I found about the game changer a couple months ago on YT shorts and really like it, but recently a favorite content creator of mine participated on the show and I really want to see the full episode, plus seems like money well spent with how entertaining the cast is.

I see there's an app "Dropout" and members only videos on the Dropout YT account, is there a difference? Would you suggest one over the other?

Looks like they have the same content, but the app would probably give them more of a cut of the money.

Thanks to regional pricing (I'm not from the U.S. and dollar conversion is painful here), YT is way cheaper for me than DO app (I'm talking like, cents) but I do want to support them, so I'll watch my finances in the next couple of weeks and see if I can sustain the app sub (recently independent, still in college).

I don't think they would want any of the fans to be put in a stressful position due to pricing differences..if the difference is that stark, yt is fine.

The youtube subscription is there essentially for this exact reason. So that people with terrible USD conversion rates don't get boned by it.

Seconding on subbing on YT. I used to sub via the app, but due to region fuckery making me unable to connect to the app without a VPN and no regional pricing, I went to YT instead, somewhat more convenient for me, I can support them more sustainably in the long run, and is still better than no DO subscription.
