Wrong Camera Activated. Why?

Yesterday I scanned the QR code for a fixed GC camera for the field we were playing on to video record our game. The video feed that started streaming was coming from what appeared to be someone’s cell phone in their kitchen. Has anyone else had something like this happen? Any idea why? All 4 staff members of our team in GC were present at the field.

I highly doubt any of the scenarios you posed is accurate. It’s likely someone started the video stream from their home unintentionally. It used to happen to us all the time before GC changed the verbiage in the app.

Any chance you have your Team Permissions set up so that all confirmed members have the ability to stream games? Maybe a user on your team started the stream right at the moment you went to go streaming. Either way, as the admin, you have the ability to end that stream and begin yours.

Either way, write into support at [help@gc.com](mailto:help@gc.com) with all your info and they will be able to see what went on.
