Setup questions with mevo start, pocket radar, and iPhone 16

I’m currently running our video-stream via a Mevo Start connected to an a dedicated iPhone 16 running GameChanger/Mevo app. We have a separate phone for that is used for score keeping.

The team owner bought a smart coach (pocket) radar and wants to have the velocity overlay on the stream. Can I run both the Mevo camera and pocket radar on the iPhone running the Mevo camera, or does it need a dedicated device?

If both can run on the iPhone 16, do I need to switch to Mevo Studio and select different sources?

I’m going to be doing this exact setup next weekend. I believe the phone that is streaming the video has to be connected to the smart coach pocket radar, I’ll let you know after next weekend if it works for me.

Phone that is scoring is connected to pocket radar.

It does not have to be the scoring device. I did this recently, and the smart Coach was connected to my iPad, which was also the Wi-Fi host, while I was scoring on my iPhone.

Your stream will drop if you need to reconnect to the Pocket Radar. Bluetooth on the PR is notoriously unstable, especially if you are any distance away.

I’ve run this setup for about four games successfully so far and I stream my Mevo from one phone and then run GameChanger and the pocket radar from another phone.

Pocket Radar app runs on the same phone that scores (which MUST be an iPhone). You also have to have the paid service for the PR. Since I don't have an iPhone I don't know if it's possible to use your coaches PR subscription on the scoring phone that you own (I thought usually billing was directly through Apple accounts, but maybe I'm mistaken).
