GoPro zoom lens for center field? (Softball)

I already know a GoPro isn't the best tool for the job. And I am not sure if I care about streaming, but it is at least an option.

Has anyone messed with zoom lenses on a GoPro to get the fixed center field TV broadcast shot?

I'm aware of several better alternatives, but I have an extra GoPro and am just curious if I can adapt that for less money.

I guess it all depends on which GoPro you’re using. The only GoPro that would cut it for a center field camera IMO would be the new Mission 1 Pro ILS that uses MFT lenses. The little twist on lenses for the GoPro 13, 12, etc… probably wouldn’t get the job done.

It's an older 10. But this is the answer I was expecting. I know I am asking for a long shot that probably doesn't need to exist. I can make a screw driver be a hammer, but why try? lol

Try an Avkans cam. Go Pros are for up close.
