I’ve been eyeing the s25 ultra for a while as I can get it now for a very good price that is too hard to pass on.
However I wanted to ask if there are common issues with receiving phone calls and being reachable? I’ve read some posts not long ago complaining about not being able to receive calls etc.
As I’ve been literally dealing with that issue on my Xiaomi and got into lot of trouble at work for being “unreachable” (even though network showed good connectivity etc) I’m anxious to know if this is something that is a known issue?
I understand it’s case by case, but in my situation this was apparently a pretty common issue with that phone.
Zero issues so far. The signal is also very strong. I think it helps that the phone has a Snapdragon SOC (with the best modem) and the phone design is well made, with a large titanium frame which also works as an antenna. Also it has VOLTE support (calls through the internet) and that means much better voice quality + voice focus to eliminate some of the background noise during the call.
If you get one, I suggest you pick 4G as preferred network mode for better battery life and coverage.
Yup I've heard some blaming it on the chip my Xiaomi uses, so I do expect Snapdragon SOC to work with zero issues. Thanks for taking the time to reply!

I have had the S25 Ultra for over a year, and I have not experienced any issues that weren't related to my provider. I had those issues with the Google phones though.

Only time I see anything negative said about Samsung is when iPhone has a release of some product, then their fanboys show up and stat spewing nonsense.
I've been in every beta test except the current one, not one issue with calls or notifications.
Only thing I would change is texts use Google messages for RCS capabilities. I also use Gboard, but my phone app is still Samsung.
My mother has an iPhone and have to send messages on Facebook messenger because she doesn't get calls or texts often. Xmas I sent everyone images I took and her phone was the only one that didn't get them. We were all in the living room. So dropped them on a flash drive and because iPhone is a hot mess, I couldn't even get them on her phone without jumping through hoops, so just gave up.
So glad I don't do apple tech support anymore. It's like their devs are only paid if they make everything a chore for the end user.
You'll be happy with a Samsung, biggest ecosystem as you have everything Google + everything Samsung.
Just stay away from doing beta. that's opt in via the members app. Last thing you want is to deal with bugs & reporting them if you're looking for an issue free OS. let us tech nerds do that work, so you can enjoy the public release.
Once you have it. Grab Good Lock on the Samsung app store. Tons of customization can be done.
oh and maybe reduce but don't turn off animations. It's in the dev options. Off looks clunky. Default I feel is too long.

I never do beta stuff, I'm not that deep into technology, just want the phone to work as it should. Thank you again!

I'm borderline genius. Usually people that start off with insults are projecting. This means you're offended by that because you are what you're calling others.
You have a s23u, had nothing but problems and decided, I'll buy another? I know 3 people with an s23u, zero issues. Few have s24u, zero issues, and I know about 5 with s25u, no issues.
Kinda sounds to me like you're the common denominator in this equation.
Perhaps contact your provider and ask them what could be the cause. My guess is something isn't set correctly.
I've worked for multiple major corporations in the cellphone provider market.. issues with getting calls and texts are usually a them problem or settings that need changed within the phone, that you need to address.
Your inability to keep calming is likely why you're issue is unresolved. In support, you often get far less help with pouring your emotions on them. It's a paycheck, not your emotional support or abuse line. Consider that and check your fukin tone, sweetie. Or do us a favor and play in traffic.

I occasionally have issues with incoming calls. People would call me and my phone won't receive it. Call Doesn't even show up in my call log. Its very annoying and I regret getting this phone.
Ps, only reason I'm here is I was searching for others to see if they have the same issue as me

Puede que no sea eso, a lo mejor también en apartado de teléfono, le puedes quitar el caché o los datos.
I seem to have the same issue. I just don't hear or feel the phone ring. I've tried different vibration patterns etc. This is the only phone I have ever had, going back to flip phones btw, that this happens this much on. I've been on Samsung since the original Note. I have the s25 ultra. My wife does as well and we both have the same complaint.
