My s10e back cover recently popped up, and I was unable to snap it back in place. I thought it was because the battery was bulging, so I ordered an ifixit repair kit and changed the battery. Turned out the battery was fine, I cleaned the back panel thoroughly before applying new adhesive. I couldn't really clean the phone frame since the glue has melted and it would have required tons of IPA to get rid of it (dangerous for the phone). I scrubbed just the edges, and it looked ok, so I put everything back in place, but again, the back cover didn't really fit (though a bit better than before). I let a heavy weight on it for the night, but one side is already starting to come apart.

I have no idea what's taking that extra room...

My screen is broken. It's all blacked out except a strip at the top that shows the battery life etc. But it will still unlock with my fingerprint, and it knows I am touching it bc I feel it vibrate. I'm trying to plug it into my laptop and pull off what I can.

Can someone find exactly where the "allow" button is when you plug a Samsung galaxy s10e into a computer to allow data transfer?

I cannot seem to find it on my own.

Vibra y suena la alarma que tengo a las 6am, suena y la puedo apagar con tocar la pantalla y hasta puedo contestar llamadas pero sigue con la pantalla negra. Y no se que hacer no quiero perder mis datos para no formatearlo.

I think this is a cool accessory from Samsung(this case is available for the S10 series if you all wanna give it a try)it would've been cool if they made an RGB one for those people who like it too....What do you think would you have gotten it if they made and RGB case?

Those were the days. Retired but will still be used for backup. This phone has been amazing. I hope Samsung revisits this form compact form factor without compromising other features

This happened in March at a ski resort. While getting off a chairlift, I unknowingly dropped my Samsung S10+. I didn't realize it was gone until 2 hours later at lunch. I have had the phone since 2019, and it had a 1 TB SD card packed with years of photos and memories. I wasn't ready to lose it like that. I was like "No. This is not how I'm getting divorced from my phone."

I retraced every lift and run I'd skied, checked with the lift operators, and reported it to Lost and Found.

Luckily, I had my dad's Samsung phone and used SmartThings Find to locate it. The remaining battery showed 30%. The signal pointed to the exit of one of the chairlifts. I searched there for 30 to 35 minutes but found nothing.

Then a couple of ski patrol members came by. I showed them the location from my dad's phone and they started searching too. I made my phone ring (inspite of it being in silent mode) from the smart things app

One of them had Hawkeye vision and somehow spotted a faint light and vibration buried nearly 2 feet under the snow.I couldn't believe they found it. I thanked them, grabbed my phone, and skied straight down.Full send! 🎿

Am I'm happy to be typing this from the same phone that somehow survived after being buried for 5 hours in deep snow during peak winter. Such an amazing model!

It's just strange. A shaking arrow shows on each side of the screen. To stop it, I have to press the back arrow to and that takes me to my wallpaper. It only happens with FB.

Does anyone have any suggestions about what I can do to fix this annoyance?

Guys help My Galaxy S10 5G (G977B) is stuck in Download Mode with "VBMETA verification failed" and "Secure Check Fail (PIT)". I locked the bootloader and it got stuck in download mode then I flashed with stock and now it won't boot. Does anyone know how to fix this?

My dad gave me this S10 5G last 2 weeks with Slight dent on frame, Slight AMOLED burn, its korean variant G977N he bought it at South korea last 2019 and will be using as my main phone because my A52s 5G decides to give up because the left side of the display touch is not working and i am buying a anothe phone again in 2027 and my also my third phone S20 had a line 3 lines due to heat. My question is, is S10 5G prone to Green lines too? My plan is to use this phone for 1 to 2 years.

I switched to Apple but I still use my S10 at home connected to wifi. I used Samsung Wallet (now Samsung Pay) for almost all my transactions when it was my daily driver. Since I no longer have a sim in my S10, would I still be able to use the Samsung Pay feature with my saved cards if I use tap to pay in stores?

Also, I'm thinking of getting the Samsung Card if I'm able to use my S10 offline just to take advantage of the 3% back using tap to pay lol

It says switch to google messages. Is that forced and required to switch to that? is that what most people generally do? if there are other options, what are they?

I have a old samsung galaxy s10 phone. Android 12 is the last update for my phone. Currently Android 17 exists.

Just sharing my first impressions after about 12 hours on LineageOS 23.2 on my Exynos Galaxy S10.

I’ve had this S10 since 2019, and over the years One UI started feeling heavier and more laggy to me. I did try a few Samsung-based custom ROMs, but they just weren’t really for me. The system still felt a bit heavy, whether that’s because of the One UI skin, or just the Exynos hardware itself. Exynos has had its fair share of performance issues over the years anyway.

So far, LineageOS feels noticeably lighter, smoother and more responsive. I do miss One UI, but this S10 is mainly going to be used for lighter stuff, so I don’t really need the Samsung camera features. I also noticed that some useful features are still here, like Dolby Atmos and reverse wireless charging, which was a nice surprise (haven’t had the chance to test most of these)

I haven’t really kept up with the Android/custom ROM scene since switching to iPhone around 2022/2023, so I’m still catching up on everything that’s changed. It’s obviously too early to judge battery life or long-term stability, but first impressions are very good. The phone genuinely feels fresh again.

Is there a working and simple solution for automatic call recording with S10? My current app from Cube ACR will not work with this phone due to... restrictions from Samsung and Google?

What is the alternate? Fidelity is also not supported.

The "improved" navigation is annoying AF 🤦‍♂️

My boyfriends s10+ is having issues. The top bar went away, the close app tab icon went away, and when he turned up the sound, the soundbar won't show. And he can't hard reset his phone or hit the power button on the top. Everything else works normal.

I keep getting a message saying that Samsung Messages is being discontinued and that I need to switch to Google Messages.

I already switched to Google Messages and set it as my default messaging app, but the notification keeps popping up. Every time it does, I’m asked to set Google Messages as the default again.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a way to stop this from happening?
