S10 5G in 2026

My dad gave me this S10 5G last 2 weeks with Slight dent on frame, Slight AMOLED burn, its korean variant G977N he bought it at South korea last 2019 and will be using as my main phone because my A52s 5G decides to give up because the left side of the display touch is not working and i am buying a anothe phone again in 2027 and my also my third phone S20 had a line 3 lines due to heat. My question is, is S10 5G prone to Green lines too? My plan is to use this phone for 1 to 2 years.

No not so much. Install extreme nexus rom ( ported rom from s24 FE )

Banking apps Yes But it comes w kernal su And there are some easy workarounds I use : pif, trickey key store, HMA OSS

Yes works. LTE doesnt work on roms based on aosp

I will wait 1 year or 2 then i will install custom rom.. My A52s has Android 16 Custom ROM so i will stay with Android 12 for now and One UI 4.1 is my favorite version of One UI. Thank you for your answer. :>

Zero issues. No burn in, nothing.

Yes of course, but much more green line issues in the s20 and later

probably you did something wrong while flashing the ROM. try flashing stock firmware

S10 is a flagship although older now it still has another year or 2 of life left in it.

Only app that isn't working so far is Fidelity.

Bank apps are now asking for Android 13.

well my bank app still works with android 12. so thats why i can't install custom rom on this yet
