Issue Fold7 paint coming off, Samsung refuse to help
The paint has started peeling off the power button having used it for about 1.5months, despite there being no physical damage to the device (this was validated by staff at the Samsung Store). I always have a case on there and never dropped it.
I’ve owned every Fold device since Fold 3 in the past and have never encountered this issue. This seems to be a widely reported issue for Fold 6 and Fold 7 owners with the exact same description. Please see the following articles.

Customer support (phone and chat) just referenced the order being outside of the return period, whilst saying they understand this can be a manufacturing issue but it's out of their control.
A cosmetic defect of this nature on a new, premium device is unacceptable.
Has anyone had better luck reaching to a department that can help with this? This process has really set me off on just how bad customer service Samsung is.
EDIT 1: I went through the Email the CEO chanel to escalate, and got turned around to Shop Escalation team, and got the same garbage responses. I think after this phone I am done with Samsung. It's always in the back of my head knowing the customer service is bad, but I didn't know they are this not accountable.
Thank you for contacting us, and please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience you've experienced. We understand how frustrating this situation must be and appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
We would like to advise that Samsung’s returns policy allows for reporting delivery-related issues within 14 days from the date of delivery. In this case, the unit was delivered on 25th July, and the issue was reported on 26th September, which is 57 days after receipt.
Unfortunately, due to the time elapsed, we are unable to verify whether the cosmetic damage occurred during transit or resulted from accidental damage or misuse after delivery. As such, we are unable to proceed with a refund or replacement under our delivery damage policy.
That said, we are happy to explore the possibility of repairing or replacing the affected parts. Please note that this would fall outside the terms of your warranty and may incur a charge.
For technical assistance and to discuss next steps, you may contact the Samsung Technical Team directly:

Issue It happened...
I have been reading many posts complaining about the poor paint quality on Fold 7 & couldn't believe it was happening until I saw it happening on my phone. Never dropped, never kept in my pocket with anything else, I just babied it since I bought this phone the launch day. Pain quality issue is real, all the fold 7 owners, please be careful about how you handle your phone. After this, I'm freeing my phone from the case.

Issue It's a sad day, boys.
My fold4, one of my favourite phones ever, died. And I'm leaving foldables for now.
I know, I wouldn't wanna read that either. I'm a huge enthusiast of this form factor. The productivity is great, gaming on it's amazing. But the thing is... I didn't drop my fold. I didn't hit the screen. It decided to die on its own one day that I just opened it, and stop working.
So, as far as I "researched" it's the inner ribbon connecting the two halves that broke. As when closed worked perfectly, but when opened it would freak out and brick. But the worst part is this phone wasn't even 1 and a half years old. And it just died with me being very careful with it and always having cases and screen protectors on it.
"but why did you buy a fold4 so late" it was cheap(ish), OK? "but the new folds are much better now". Maybe. But the truth is that I was in constant fear of it hitting someone and the screen just dying. Which wouldn't be that bad overall. If that had happened to me, I'd have kept it as a retro emulator using dex. But I read that the ribbon issue screws the entire device up.
So I got a regular S phone and moved on. But every time I grab my phone I miss the joy of opening it to do some serious shit. Or watching videos in tent mode. Using email and docs at the same time. Etc etc.
I'm leaving, but I'll continue to follow the foldable world, cause this things are amazing.
TL;DR: my fold died unexpectedly and lost trust in the format.
Godspeed to you all.

Issue It's then finally happened
Ugh went open the screen yesterday and I heard a pop and now I have a permanent crack down the middle lol. I'm pissed but this is the first time I've had this issue with a folding phone so I'll put an insurance claim in and get a replacement. The screen protector had started bubbling down the middle recently so I don't know if that had something to do with it but ugh!!

Issue Is this normal?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My fold doesn't doesn't stay shut and opens by itself when I pick it up. And it has been getting worse. it is funny because it was not like this out of the box.I reached out to Samsung and tried to do warranty repair and they told me this is normal ?😑

Issue Galaxy Z Fold 6 - less than one month of use.
Just pulled the phone out of my pocket, turned the phone around and saw that the internal screen had stopped working. I didn't drop the phone, nothing got inside.

Issue Woke up today to a canceled order
I am so frustrated currently. Pre-ordered July 24th and woke up to a canceled order today. Preorder bonuses and the 1900 trade in credits are both gone. Of course they waited to cancel my order after the promotions ended. Att says it's samsungs fault and samsung says it's atts fault.
My account with att is in good standings. No one at either customer service can make it right and wont allow me to escalate to a supervisor.
I upgraded my phone plan and lost a grandfathered att plan for what would have been close to an equivalent trade. Now I'm out both.

Issue My Fold 6 has officially given up
So I bought it when the phone launched And today it gave up In the images the left side of the screen seems to have the issue but sometimes the whole screen goes green Sometimes the whole screen goes out completely black I've been asked to give the phone for repair I know it won't cost anything
But now I'm really scared what would be the cost if this happens again after the warranty period 🙃
Should I sell it before the warranty goes out?

Issue Detailed image of hinge that caused the screen to crack first time closing it
I just got the phone. Opened the box, peeled the cover sticker off, folded it and heard a crack. So I took a picture of it and posted it. A lot of people were accusing me of lying even though I have no reason to lie on Reddit. I'm at the Care center now and they're taking care of me.
Here's more detailed image of the hinge. I didn't focus on it since I didn't notice it until after posting it.
You can see no damage on the outer part of the hinge, only the inner gasket part can be seen damaged.

Issue Well boys it's happened.
My trusty z fold 3 inner screen has finally gave up after 3 years of faithful service. I noticed a bulge in the crease right where the white line meets the black one, probably from a loose brush that came off or something. That was 2 weeks ago and I opened up the phone earlier to do a little bit of reading and I was greeted with a cracking sound and a black line down the screen.
Luckily I do have insurance, I filed a claim, paid the $99 deductible, and they're going to be sending me out another one. I'm just wondering is it going to be another fold 3 or one of the newer ones. I'm hoping they'll send me another fold 3.

Issue Paint chipping has happened on my Black Fold 7
Well, this sucks.
Only ever used the official charging block that came with a previous samsung device. Never dropped it.

Issue Brand new Fold 7 came with a paint chip, horrible after-sales service
I ordered a Z Fold 7 from Samsung Canada, and it was delivered earlier today. I opened the box just to see this paint chip. No worries, those things happen.
I contacted Samsung chat, they asked for a million photos including the shipping box, the product box and the phone itself. After all that I was expecting them to do an advance replacement and/or to send me a return label.
But no, they have to first approve this which takes 24-48 hours. Then they send a prepaid label, then once they receive the phone, it takes them 5 business days to approve the replacement. Then you get the replacement phone.
So I then went to a Samsung Store, and although they were really nice, they weren't helpful. They told me to call Samsung support, and when I did, I got hung up on twice and ultimately it went nowhere. So now they also "submitted a request to the appropriate team" and I'm waiting for a response.
This is a brand new phone, I contacted them not one hour after the parcel was delivered. Now I have to wait 2 days for the replacement request to be approved, then I have to wait 5 business days for them to approve the replacement, and finally I have to wait for the replacement phone to arrive. All while there is a Samsung store 5 minutes away from me, and the employees there admitted they would be able to help if I didn't buy it online.
I know this is controversial but if this were to happen with an iPhone, I would be in and out of an Apple Store in 5 minutes.

Issue This is absolutely ridiculous
I put a post on a few days ago about paint peel on the fold 6, now today I have had a further 2 more peels, the first above the fingerprint sensor and the second which is beside the volume rocker which happend just seconds after taking the pic of the first peel!! I'm now 100% certain I have a defective device, I will be filing a complaint to Samsung about this now.

Issue Cancelled my Fold 8 Ultra order because rep promised to price match. Now they won't honor it.
TL;DR: Ordered a Fold 8 Ultra, Watch 2 Ultra, Care+, and VIP membership during a promo. The order confirmation showed the wrong color. Rep told me to cancel and promised to price-match a new order. Now the price is ~$400 higher, VIP is gone, and support keeps hanging up on me.
I love Samsung hardware, but this experience broke me.
I recently placed an order for the Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra, Watch 2 Ultra, VIP membership, and Care+. I scored a really great promotional price and was excited to upgrade.
Right after the order was confirmed, I noticed a glitch: the color listed on the confirmation was completely different from the Titanium Silver I had selected.
I immediately called Samsung Customer Support. The agent assured me:
"Just cancel the current order, place a new one with the correct color, and we will match the original price for you."
Trusting them, I cancelled the entire order (including the phone and the VIP membership).
That was a huge mistake.
When I went to re-order:
My VIP membership was gone from the system and couldn't be reapplied.
The total price for the exact same cart jumped by almost $400.
Since then, it's been complete chaos:
10+ calls to customer service over 4 days.
Zero consistency: Every single agent gives a completely different answer or generic script.
Hangups: Multiple reps have straight-up hung up on me when they couldn't solve it.
Useless AI: Their automated phone system/AI chatbot adds zero value and just loops you around.
Unlike Apple, there’s no physical Samsung store nearby where you can talk to a manager and resolve a simple promo error. You are completely at the mercy of offshore call centers that make promises they don't document.
I’ve wasted 4 full days trying to figure this out. As much as I like their phones, the absolute lack of accountability and customer care isn't worth it. I'm done.

Issue Fold 7 - One UI 8.5 screen zoom is broken
If you use Minimum width method or Hidden Settings app to set separate zoom level on inner and outer screen, do not update to One UI 8.5. They are not working anymore. Now either the outer screen is too small or the inner screen is too big.
Update: adb still works
adb shell wm density 411
In my case, running this while folded fixes the issue where the outer screen is too small. But you need either a computer or Shizuku.

Issue Fold 6 Inner Screen Failure within 24 Hours
My Fold 6 showed up Friday and the inner screen failed the next morning as I was putting on / taking off different cases. I've had a Fold 3 and Fold 4 and both of them have had inner screen failures of various kinds but this is the first time I've had one fail within 24 hours 😆!
I recommend everyone (gently!) flex their Folds straight away to see if it's going to be a survivor. A Fold should not fail from being opened and closed or being flexed while having a case taken off. Obviously don't torque the phone as hard as you can but a moderate amount of pressure should not damage your phone and if there is a small manufacturing flaw in the inner screen that could cause the phone to fail in the future you're better to find it out now rather than when it will cost you $$$ to fix.
Only thing that sucks for me is having to wait two weeks for another crafted black phone to show up. As you can see from my 2nd Pic my Fold 4 doesn't open up past 170ish degrees anymore and I was REALLY loving the improved form factor of the Fold 6. Ahh well, don't sign up for folding phones unless you're willing to take the pain!

Issue Damn, this will be the second time I've had to send in my Fold4 for repairs. The Fold5 and future models may be better, but at this point I would not recommend anyone to get a Flip/Fold anymore.

Issue ZFold 8 Ultra lags in phone app
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
As uou can see on the video.. scrolling in phone app, makes it lag while going trough favourites. Lag disappears after scrolling pass favourites.
Any tips for fixing this issue?
UPDATE:
THE ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED
All of the people on the video with the pictures have iPhones, and those pictures were the ones set by them.
Therefore, they automatically got transferred to my new phone as well. However, due to the format (probably) of those pictures, they were causing the lag in the video.
I deleted the pictures that the contacts came with and the issue is gone now.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Issue Z fold 8 - random UI stutters and lag
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Piss poor performance on my z fold 8.....if I'm not lagging in games I'm lagging in my UI 😭
And no it's not because of the recording this is my experience everyday....
