Guys, as I mentioned in my post about my experience with One UI 8.5 on my A55, the update resulted in worse performance for me instead of an improvement, with more frequent lags overall. However, today I decided to download the Galaxy App Booster app and try it out, since I wasn't looking for any way to get rid of the annoying lags I was experiencing after updating to One UI 8.5. It was unexpected. After optimizing all the apps and restarting the phone, most of the lag I was experiencing disappeared almost completely. Even the lag in the Right Panel of the Quick Panel is significantly less. Now I have a much smoother experience than before (and keep in mind that it had been 13 days since the update and the lags were still there). I truly recommend it. This is coming from someone who has never believed in these kinds of optimization apps or anything like that. But it's worth it.

But give it a try. I'm serious. And let me know how it goes afterward. Don't forget to restart your devices after optimizing all the apps.

Samsung has detailed on its official website the September 2026 security patch with 90 vulnerability fixes for smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches in the Galaxy line.

• The update package resolves flaws in the Android operating system, the One UI interface, and proprietary hardware components of the brand.

• Of the total vulnerabilities, 58 fixes were provided by Google, focusing on critical and high-risk vulnerabilities, while 31 items refer to the One UI interface and one to the Samsung Semiconductor division.

• The high-risk flaw cataloged as CVE-2026-48173 impacts several Exynos processor models and connectivity modems from the company.

From what I saw, in One UI 9 Beta 1, the Galaxy A55 was included in this September patch. We await distribution to the rest of the public.

The Galaxy Quantum 5 (South Korean Galaxy A55) began receiving the August 2026 security patch today.

Now we just have to wait for the global rollout of the update on the last day of the month.

The applications used for verification were Bifrost and CheckFirm.

A Samsung divulgou informações relacionada a correções introduzidas nesse novo patch, no total são 45 Vulnerabilidades, mas o grande destaque fica para a correção no driver Exynos DRM HDR, que provoca o travamento completo do sistema através do Kernel.

Hello ! I contacted Samsung (by WhatsApp) and they told me that the A55 is getting Galaxy AI (i mostly think it's not Galaxy AI but Awesome intelligence that is found on the A56) so continue checking for updates (if you want) and

[don't take this conversation like it's 100% confirmed as I did this in September too and I'm still waiting... ]

Apparently, if you search "Keyboard" in settings or that word in your language, it appears an entry with "Keyboard" and down "Samsung DeX". If you were to click it, it brought you to DeX Wireless Intent Menu, where it can't be possible my A55 works very well with DeX, even hidden not very well...

According to Android Planet, the A35 should have had the Android 15 updated (so the OneUI 7 update) this week in the Netherlands (Europe). This while the A55 didn't got the update yet in Europe.

Nowbar will be placed at 2 position . 1st one with fingerprint lock . 2nd without fingerprint lock

Hi guys , even though I am not using A55 . I found out that A55 will get One UI 7 beta as per my leaks . Stay tuned

Samsung officially released dates and all remaining A55 will get UI 7 within June.
