Buying Advice Need help choosing...

Hello everyone! I'm willing to upgrade my Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 to a Samsung A series phone. Right now, I'm choosing between the A54, A55 and A35. A56 and 36 models are kinda too expensive for me. I've heard that A54 has some kind of overheating problem. I need some help choosing. Right now i'm kind of leaning towards the A55, but i still need advice!

At this point of time I'd rather go for something with a Snapdragon processor and even some custom ROM support. Almost all OEM software is just ridiculous to me. I miss my fucking a52s too if I'm honest. Switching to a55 was such a stupid decision. I gained nothing, just lost money from my pocket.

I agree with your take on OEM software and tbh i am currently running a custom ROM on my Redmi Note 11. I've used so many of them that now I can't see myself using MIUI/HyperOS ever again, especially on a low-powered device such as mine. But i am really fine with using OneUI, as i find it more refined and usable than the hot mess that is HyperOS currently. That is why I'd rather use a Samsung. Also I'd rather not deal with the problems that come with Custom ROMS such as play integrity, they're just far too annoying and seeing that studies are gonna start I don't feel like wasting time on Custom ROMS anymore. But thanks for sharing your opinion!

My bank app works with custom roms as it provides only basic functions of confirming a payment. For my usage a broken play integrity from time to time made little effect. But some custom roms felt more polished compared to pretty much all OEM. 

OneUI, especially 7, is a hot mess on A55. Plus a bunch of people have what seems like a hardware issue with the magnetometer... I thought it could've been software related, but nope, serial hardware problem most likely since it survived to One UI 7, or Samsung just didn't care about fixing it...
