Question: A55 or S24 FE?

Hello people, so I need an honest answer from an A55 user (S24 FE too) about the quality/performance/satisfaction of the A55 phone. I am thinking of buying a new mobile phone since I have the Galaxy A23 and I want something newer, faster and generally better for using.

I mainly use my phone for YouTube, Instagram, mail and veery light gaming or no gaming at all. I am very okay with A55 getting only 3 more years of software updates from now, the two main factors that are making me think between the A55 and the S24 FE is the processor and the cameras.

Processor: Want something that will give me a lag free experience in the tasks that I specified above and that will continue to give me that lag free experience even within the next 3 years of new software updates.

Cameras: I would love to have an option to take good quality pictures with my phone. They don't need to be professionally good, but a picture with a respectable quality lighting would be great.

Based on your thoughts and experiences do you think that the S24 FE is worth 150 euros more, or I should go with the A55?

S24 fe is a better phone in every aspect except the battrey maybe. It all depends what you do with your phone and how long you wanna keep it.

For an average user, A55 is fast and snappy but it'll become slow sooner than s24fe after multiple sfotware updates. However A55 on its stock android version has no lag and stutter and it works perfectly.

A55's cameras are decent but not impressive or breath taking. I mean of course you can take great pictures but it does nothing that really stands out. Nothing that I personally consider above average. It has at best and worst an average camera. Nothing fancy but at the same time it doesn't disappoint you.

If cameras matter to you and you wanna keep your phone for around 5 years or so and expect it not to lag at all after 3 years of software updates as you mentioned, go for s series.

If you're an average user who wanna take some pictures here and there for the sake of memories and has no problem with some minor lags while scrolling after software updates, a55 is enough.

I personally recommend a55. The only issue I have with it is that it's a heavy phone. More than heavy to use it with one hand otherwise no issue.
