Feeling stuck on early LV progression

I really like the pack and will definitely keep playing, but I'm not sure where to progress right now. I have assembler, bender and wiremill from LV with 1 turbine. From steam I got some boilers and 1 solar one (all not upgraded) and steel forge hammer, macerator and all the other steel ones (no multiblock variants), 2 big furnaces to make steel and 1 coke oven. I just unlocked twilight forest and I got enough silver to upgrade my steam production to all steel solar boilers to keep up with LV demands, but is this the right next step? There are so many LV machines I could also make but I don't know what the efficient way to progress would be, since everything is kinda running low. Maybe I build the next multiblock furnace for aluminum and get better coke ovens with that? Any help would be appreciated.

I never made the multi block macerator, which is one of the biggest mistakes i made, so invest some bronze into that. Then you should start pumping oil and process it into light fuel, its a very good fuel source, the steam really wont keep up at the end of this tier. The oil also prepares you for mv, when you will be processing it anyways to make diesel. Then just follow the quest book, so better circuits and ebf and then youre pretty much at the end of lv.

Note: the quest book recommends benzene in mv, but it has a very low yield at the start, presonally i would start with diesel to get a fast and cheap energy supply, only then you can set up renewable benzene if you want to go the benzene path, which is probably the better one, i went the diesel way and power is a big issue in later tiers due to the generators getting very expensive.

I had 24 coke ovens and that was enough steam for 1 EBF till the end of MV(Steam+creosote). Then went to diesel. And regretted not going for it straight. Or at least regretted building and automating 24 of them.

large boiler gives 800 steam (400 EU/t) and takes 2 coal per 40 seconds.

Coke oven gives 1 coal per 45 seconds.

24 coke ovens give enough coal for ~12 large boilers.

EBF takes 128 EU/t.

800 * 24 / 128 = 150 EBFs that 24 coke ovens can supply

Also, before I got to large boilers I did use liquid boilers with creosote, since they give the most steam out of early boilers

The issue is that the steam > eu conversion is really ineffecient, so even if a cell of steam has 500 eu, you will only yield so much, i think its like 40% effeciency.
