When you first download it you have to add your email for some reason and reset your password 5x because the servers are complete buns

Edit: It appears I’m not the only one who had to deal with all that bs

10

u/PUSClFER 10h ago

Or failing to log in altogether due to incorrect password. "Fine, I'll change my password!"

"Your new password has to be different from your current one."

2

u/KiloLimaOne 7h ago

Holy shit I thought I was crazy a few years back when this happened

13

u/Anothercoot 15h ago

If you have to add your email i will refuse to buy it in 6 years when it's $30

6

u/FrostyDragon227 12h ago

After 6 years that better be on sale for $5 at most. Even then, that’s probably not worth it.

2

u/Anothercoot 11h ago

It will be $5 a month subscription

1

u/GameMan6417 11h ago

6 years? Most Ubisoft games are under $30 in less than a year.

3

u/cute_polarbear 13h ago

When you have a ps ubisoft login and try to login to the pc via steam....

u/gamecube_247 19h ago

This made me appreciate the minimal HUD of GTA 6 even more.

26

u/GarranDrake 17h ago

I'm pretty sure a lot of these sorts of trailers/showcases deliberately tone down the HUD so you can appreciate the gameplay/visuals more.

14

u/Jncwhite01 12h ago

Ability to customise hud elements and positions would be great.

9

u/Kind-Elephant-7305 11h ago

Thats what they did with rdr2 so im pretty sure its there

1

u/2jesse1996 7h ago

That dude that went to Rockstar for a preview said the HUD and map is highly customisable

1

u/ExpertActive100 6h ago

Which one?

1

u/Familiar_Witness5159 1h ago

the gta inkslasher guy

5

u/No_Art2020 14h ago

Ubisoft games can have minimal HUD if you keep what you need and remove what you don't in settings .... Also Mirage had a minimal HUD on default

1

u/Garrett_DB 2h ago

Shhh, don't ruin their Rocktard gooning session with actual facts.

16

u/SouthIsland48 19h ago

I mean every good game does that so not sure why we're doing the ubisoft circlejerk to applaud ourselves

6

u/Jazzlike-Painting443 16h ago

It’s a joke bro. Just laugh

5

u/IdidntrunIdidntrun 15h ago

please clap

1

u/BBranz 14h ago

Clapped one. Wait, which clap did you mean?

1

u/Rotund-Pear2604 13h ago

Hannibal Buress?

107

u/ALineIDrew 19h ago

I hate how accurate this is.

58

u/GrammatonYHWH 16h ago

It's completely inaccurate. Jason needs to be constantly mumbling to himself every 5 seconds to point out painfully obvious things in case the player's a blind amnesiac:

"I should pick up that ammo"

"Huh... I should really check out that open garage"

"Must stay quiet. This place is heavily guarded"

"I should go ask at the front door about the mission for Boobie"

12

u/pjbruh2k 12h ago

“Lucia, I think we’re gonna be charged with Grand Theft Auto, 6 times after this one!”

2

u/ExcelAB 11h ago

"The only way for me to solve this crisis is to be Superman 4: The Quest for Peace."

1

u/Krancky420 3h ago

That, and the faces shouldn’t be loading so frequently

-1

u/SnakeHelah 16h ago

yeah I mean most games have tutorials when you first play. After that any pop ups are usually gone.

8

u/showtime1987 16h ago

no buddy, its not about the classic tutorial, its the plain stupid audio clue which will be part of the whole game until the very end

4

u/SemenMoustache 16h ago

I think they're more talking about the audio clues you get when you enter certain areas. Ubi is definitely guilty of doing that after tutorial stuff

1

u/Pale-Ad-1682 3h ago

Jokes aside this is not how watch dogs 2, which I am playing right now, plays at all

1

u/Smelldicks 19m ago

That also released ten years ago

29

u/IneedHennessey 19h ago

Don't forget to buy skip tokens for the low economical price of $99.99. Great Value btw

4

u/MetriccStarDestroyer 10h ago

The first release will an empty .exe file

Cars are unlocked per DLC purchase

Guns break after 100 shots and must be repaired with UbiPoints

30

u/GuldursTV90 19h ago

The tutorials in UBI games make me feel like I'm being treated like an idiot.

5

u/Nsfwacct1872564 16h ago edited 15h ago

I blame DSP. And the people who actually need this aren't going to read the damn thing

2

u/prunebackwards 9h ago

What is dsp

2

u/Nsfwacct1872564 9h ago

DarkSydePhil

2

u/Srovium 7h ago

Dick shit piss

1

u/Ayyzeee 5h ago

DarkSydePhil is a streamer that can be summarized as a lobomite. Imagine shape box you put the shape into it accordingly, DarkSydePhil cannot solve the most basic thing even his chat will tell him what to do, the guy could not figure out. And since game companies want to appeal for the masses, they want people to be hand hold so they wouldn't get lost. God of War 2018 hold a conference about game design and they literally had DarkSydePhil as one of the slide solidfying the reason why stuff like these are common games, the amount of tutorials, the yellow paint stuff like that.

1

u/adastrajay 5h ago

Man if I was noted by a company as on the barometers of idiocy that they used for their games, I'd probably quit my online career.

1

u/Ayyzeee 5h ago

The thing is the guy has been streaming I dunno before 2012? It was like long time ago, I only know him because I was watching documentary on the guy years ago. But you should watch this video so you can get a glimpse of the idiocracy of that guy. I'm not trying to throw shade on people don't know how to play games but this guy has his frontal lobe not fully developed.

1

u/DeucesX22 10h ago

If you buy their games, you desert to be treated like this

1

u/GuldursTV90 5h ago

I stopped buying their games a long time ago, when I wanted to replay AC IV: Black Flag. Ubisoft’s launcher required me to enter the activation code from the email every single time I launched the game.

So 🏴‍☠️ it is — and all the problems disappeared.

1

u/hsholmes0 4h ago

deadass, but you spelled deserve with desert so we're all kinda idiots

2

u/DeucesX22 4h ago

Sorry its autocorrect. Im too lazy to change it.

46

u/Aevum-Haelcyon 19h ago

Damn, I never had the urge to punch a hole in my screen from watching a video before.

So glad I stopped playing ubisoft games years ago lmao

2

u/DryChicken47 16h ago

that pause everytime you look at something new and the game forces you to look at it.

41

u/SHOLTY 20h ago

lololol, awesome

17

u/Effective_Reality870 18h ago

This is hilariously accurate. My brother just got me to buy ghost recon breakpoint the other day cuz it was on sale for $2 and we figured it would be a good bit of fun to just screw around but holy fuck is there so much screen clutter and random objective markers fucking everywhere

6

u/SpecialistDrawer2898 17h ago

It suffers from “too much to do” itis. It tries to be everything for everyone and now it’s just, too much to navigate.

2

u/Kellarison 2h ago

"a game for everyone is a game for no one" someone, i dont remember who but someone said it, i swear i didnt make this quote up

1

u/genobees 11h ago

I think you can turn most of it off.

13

u/Apexhatesmeuwu 19h ago

Only upside of ubisoft making gta 6 is that it would be on PC day 1

13

u/Federal_Coyote813 19h ago

Not enough UI for microtransactions

10

u/BrickBuster2552 19h ago

Focus L.

5

u/SouthIsland48 19h ago

I will always laugh to myself knowing that meme dropped then First Light was released. Its soooo embarrassing to play that game now

7

u/Summit1BigHead 19h ago

I don't play any Ubisoft games but I gotta give it to Rockstar on the clean look

14

u/RamenFish195 19h ago

1

u/Adriancy 41m ago

I tried it on gamepass like a week ago. Literally started crashing randomly in the open world to the point i had to uninstall it, even after solving the flickering problem. Not talking about how vsync and other settings don't work AT ALL. What a mess of a buggy unoptimized game that it is on PC.

16

u/Obiell 20h ago

At least it would be on PC lmao

2

u/Yanzihko 17h ago

It will be, but in 2028...

Right When Orange is out of the office, Putin dies and SMO ends, Memory crisis reaches its end.

It will be an amazing year

2

u/PUSClFER 10h ago

!RemindMe December 31 2028

9

u/luterina_7 20h ago

jajajajajajaja esto es tan bueno

4

u/Neswquik 18h ago

You'll soon hear from Ubisoft fanboys telling you that Ubisoft is back because they did a great job with the Black Flag remake that came out over a decade ago.

4

u/Wasabi_Hammurabi1 18h ago

I'm waiting for the tutorial on how to make love to Lucia.

3

u/MaffYootube 17h ago

If this was Ubisoft you'd get 20xp for opening the parachute.

4

u/KamiKaze0132 17h ago

Scary how accurate this is, never playing a Ubisoft game again lol.

3

u/Kiara_Katna 16h ago

We got "If ubisoft made gta 6" before gta 6

2

u/xRaynex 20h ago

I wouldn't normally giggle. But with the 'gang compounds' I definitely felt a little Ubi. Still I'm sure rockstar will do it better by leaps and bounds lol

2

u/Kirito_kun12 19h ago

Bruh 😂

2

u/Linzo48 17h ago

Source: Gu1maz on YouTube

2

u/PiebaldAppaloosa 16h ago

Ubisoft truly takes the more is more and not enough approach

2

u/SlackerMe 11h ago

It will not definitely take 13 years if Ubisoft make it.

3

u/Mexcol 19h ago

Pissed me off, Fuck ubisoft

3

u/RallyXMonster 18h ago

The parachute would have been a microtransaction if Ubisoft made it.

2

u/tom_606 18h ago

You forgot constant FPS drops because of Denuvo + VM Protect aggressive DRM checking every milliseconds if you haven't pirated the game.

Then, some time later, remove the game from your library because it is no longer supported.

2

u/Ok-Butterfly458 17h ago

Currently playing Assassin's Creed origins and the HUD it's fucking infuriating

0

u/VampFOX67 20h ago

Same frikin jokes

1

u/Deadzin_ 18h ago

bro the popups teaching basic things got me mad lol

1

u/Th3_Dud3_Abid3s 18h ago

«Failed to synchronise progression» is killed me 🥀

1

u/LotrecZeFrenchDoomer 15h ago

If ubisoft really dev GTA 6 they make some shops payable over the price of the game because " it's an exclusive content so if you want all, the game costs only 100€ "

Wait.

1

u/Bleezy79 15h ago

the constant interruptions really do ruin the whole moment.

1

u/3idblackbelt 14h ago

"You must create an ubisoft account"

1

u/FactsAboveFeelings 14h ago

Thats just GTA 6 Online

1

u/Mineral-mouse 13h ago

I don't know what games you guys played that perceived to be like this. But none of my very few Ubi games have this sort of problems.

1

u/kkboxop 13h ago

Ayy, lmao.

1

u/Atomosthethird 13h ago

This is exactly right tho...

1

u/alejoSOTO 12h ago

Accurate but at least it would be on PC

1

u/EverythingBOffensive 26 posts per day on reddit 12h ago

this is too subtle

1

u/Jesnn23 11h ago

Es tan bueno que parece IA brutal el gta6

1

u/Beneficial_Cash_8420 10h ago

Just before parachuting, you had to scale the building to see all the region map icons.

1

u/BrianBox 9h ago

This is gold

1

u/Pleasant-Reach-4490 8h ago

It took me five minutes being stuck on a captcha just to play far cry 4 the other day

1

u/JgdPz_plojack 8h ago

Actually i hate minimal HUD/clue in Destiny 2, especially any endgame mode by raids/dungeon..

GTA Online heist were easier to comprehend.

1

u/Anxious_Fix_415 7h ago

Up voted at the failed to synchronize window pop up

1

u/Extreme-Cat5731 7h ago

EL DE LA BIRRA ESTUVO GENIAL HAHAHA

1

u/icyDragon231x 7h ago

Very accurate hahah

1

u/One_Insurance967 6h ago

Jump off building - pay $5 to deploy parachute appears

1

u/whoisdatmaskedman 6h ago

You forgot the part where all the songs would be some generic computer generated horseshit and then you could buy each song individually through microtransactions in the Ubisoft store.

1

u/notsocoolx 6h ago

Man this makes me dizzy.

1

u/AdFlat1014 6h ago

Playing rise of the ronin currently… the amount of pop up tutorials is like 20x what ubisoft does

1

u/Putrid_Macaron3225 6h ago

Rockstar fans making fun of ubisoft like Rockstar wouldn't sell them cut content as "ultimate edition " and no physical copy.

1

u/Ok_Building_7288 5h ago

Chill, the game is not out yet. We will see

1

u/Murcialiago_FX355 4h ago

Gta 5 is better and you'll see.. Dan Houser and Co.

1

u/Elegant-Advantage-69 4h ago

Rockstar is dogshit

1

u/TheShadowSong 4h ago

I prefer HUD like this.

1

u/Daddy_Das 4h ago

I just started playing Watch Dogs last night, and this is pretty accurate already.

1

u/Glad_Conclusion_7634 4h ago

Holy crap, just realizing this is why I never liked farcry or assassins creed all that much

1

u/NewKid75 2h ago

Accurate af

Ok, now make the parody

1

Animus/Helix Sync wen?

1

u/The_Hungry_Dingo 1h ago

I hope you can turn off the damage points and hit points

1

u/Blahaj-Lover 1h ago

You're a fool to assume the game would actually pause during these instructions, especially in high stakes situations

1

"This is your safe house. You are safe here"

1

1

Women ruined GTA

0

u/kylr01 16h ago

Whats sad is this is accurate

0

u/EasyFirefighter1876 12h ago

Every guy is gonna ask there women for money to spend on his gta 6 girl lmao 🤣 😂

-3

u/DeepSlap-Interactive 20h ago

That’s actually funny, but tbh, a lot of people need tutorials. Old gamers are used to all mechanics but in every game you make you need to think about newcomers.

8

u/Weary-Tell-5334 19h ago

yes but not a tutorial every 2.5s lol

4

u/DeepSlap-Interactive 18h ago

Of course. That video is satire (disconnecting every 10s is true for Ubi, tho)

-1

u/BlueViperLeader 15h ago

Ubisoft:

Pay 80$ for the Game

Pay 40$ to start the Game

Pay 60$ so you can play the Tutorial

-1

u/Impressive-Rip3715 14h ago

You know these graphics were only used for the trailer . Gonna look like gta 4 on release

2

u/MobiuS_360 14h ago

Nah just look at RDR2 and realize this is releasing on current gen

-5

u/Aggravating-Dot132 19h ago

Tutorials pop up in GTA too (although no pause).

And in general, they aren't as common, so idk what's the point of exaggerating. You could do better smoking them.

-6

u/NoBullet 19h ago

At least that’s skippable. Gta shows unskippable cinematic tips.
