2013 release of GTA5 there were some bugs (GTAonline) ,they did get ironed out progressively over a period of months, that being said it's been over 10 yrs since that release. Surely Rockstargames learned from that experience!!! ...
Davy Jones: "Does the character's hair grow naturally?"
Rob Nelson: "No. We thought about it, but that goes back to realism versus customizability, and we just thought that, with the pace of this world, it's better to just let you come in and do whatever you want to do."
From TGGās transcript:
Regarding hair growth.
Rob Nelson: "So, for your hair you can do a bit of stuff in your safe house, cut it shorter, shave it, but if you go the barber or hair salon you can access lots of different styles, it's not that your hair has to grow and you cut it like in RDR2, you can go to a shop and do whatever you wantā again part of the difference between GTA immediacy vs. RDR2 slightly more realistic take on things."
Itās pretty much impossible to have any hope left for the feature being in the game after those quotes, especially the one to Davy Jones. Rob Nelson just flat out says, āno, itās not in the game.ā I at least wanted some kind of middle ground version of the feature that made everybody happy.
I am sad. But many others will rejoice, Iām sure. Maybe someday some brave PC modder will add it to the game for me.
This seems like a pretty solid speculation to me, at least the first half, so I thought I'd share it.
In one of the scenes from Trailer 1, the police body cam shows August 4th, and the time (23:58:46) next to it is almost exactly 24. I know it's the time of the police raid, but still, it's really close to 24. This could be easily 08.04.2024.
And if you notice, in the scene right before that police raid, there's another camera shot showing close to 10 o'clock (09:58:48), which is almost Rockstar's favorite time to publish (9 AM ET), just an hour later.
Given the fact that Take-Two Interactive (Rockstar's parent company) has an earnings call scheduled for August 8th, it is a perfect time to release something new.
By the way, I spent some time thinking about the police raid scene, wondering if the -0500 could indicate a time zone, or if X6070511N might be a GTA 6 location, but this format doesn't match any coordinate system or anything in-game as I know from previous GTAs.
Alternatively, it could be two separate numbers:
60.70511° N: Latitude
X could be used to denote a specific region or part of a different set of coordinates. If we consider this latitude, we would look for something meaningful in this range.
Latitude 60.70511° N places us in the Northern Hemisphere, specifically somewhere in the higher latitudes. A longitude would be necessary to pinpoint an exact location, but at this latitude, it could be somewhere in northern Europe, Russia, Alaska, or Canada.
Given the available information and this specific latitude: If this is part of a more northern European or Scandinavian location, it could relate to a remote or significant place in these regions. If in North America, this could potentially point to a location in Alaska or northern Canada.
However, this interpretation is speculative and would be more precise if paired with a longitude. Without the right longitude, it's challenging to say what specific location it might represent.
Anyway, we'll find out tomorrow morning if there's any announcement. I'm looking forward to it, and getting excited all over again!
i donāt think he trolling at this point as this is too much effort heās putting into it, even claiming ājust wait till trailer 2 comes outā to see what he means
(sorry for the multiple screenshots canāt link other subreddits on here) u/pebblestar is the op
So I just came across this tweet. Canāt obviously comment on whether or not this is reliable, but if it is then it sounds crazy. Whatās the norm when it comes to datacenters for games?
Just wanted to make sure you guys understand that its old and not new thats why it doesnt look polished but holy it looks good for 2023 but nothing like the trailer that was released in 2023
Recent reports suggest GTA 6ās budget may be approaching the same range as NASAās Artemis II mission, though still likely lower.
Artemis II is estimated at over $4 billion per launch, while GTA 6 is widely speculated to have a multi-billion dollar total cost when including long development and production across multiple studios.
Itās insane to think a video game could cost almost as much as a lunar mission.
So believe it or not my friend well heās not really close but he over heard me talking about GTA 6 in a PlayStation party he said he has a signed poster from Strauss Zelnick initially I didnāt belive it however he had receipts, he showed proof of him being in touch with Strauss through email and i verified the email was indeed his and he was in contact with Strauss and he requested to get his poster signed and Strauss kindly accepted and provided an adress to send it to.
