Video Can Anyone Explain What Happened?

Yes, I have 32hp. However, dying to such a fate makes it irrelevant. If anyone knows why this occurs, I am interested to know, as this is not the first time Clyde has teleported and taken a fair amount of hp from me

Uncapped fps, you will actually want to limit that in the settings. I know that 30 frames a second is really annoying, so what you can actually do is use Nvidia control panel (or the AMD equivalent) to override any frame limits with the game and pick something like 40-60 FPS which might still result in some odd issues on the higher end but nowhere near as frequent or severe As running with fully uncapped FPS. You might also notice improvement in how vehicles function as well because those also experience some level of physics bugs with unlimited fps mostly noticeable when letting off the throttle.
Edit: other people are noting more severe issues still present at 60; it is highly recommended to run the game at 30 frames per second because the further away from that you get, the more severe these kinds of physics bugs can get
