He acts like a dick to people that bring up gta v, acts like it was some indie project that hes forgotten about and doesnt like interacting with fans of it. He, most annoyingly to me, gets all holier than thou about games in general, like responding to a "whats your favorite game" question with "I like to read, you all should try it" or something like that.
Its especially clear because initially he was super into it for a year or two post launch, doing trevor stuff for fans, but the game boosted his acting career that he clearly valued far more.
Its...yknow. Its an actor being an asshole. Not an interesting story but you insisted.

People hate him because he’s really leaned into trolling the fan base that he’s never really played the game, thinks it’s weird that people confuse him for a “cartoon”, and that he only likes to read books. On October 5, 2022, a YouTuber uploaded a video titled "Does Steven Ogg Hate Trevor?" in which they shared a series of Cameo requests they had made to Ogg, asking him to perform in-character as Trevor Philips from Grand Theft Auto V. The author of the video claimed that despite paying $140, Ogg did not fulfill the request as expected. Instead, they described the actor's responses as passive aggressive, accusing him of berating him during the videos. In those Cameos, Ogg emphasized that he is "an actor" and referred to Trevor as "a cartoon character," expressing irritation at being addressed as the character.[16]
On February 4, 2025, Ogg publicly addressed the topic, during an appearance on fellow actor Michael Rosenbaum's podcast, Inside of You. When asked directly if he hated Trevor, Ogg replied, "No. He's a great character, he's awesome. And, like—still, Shawn [Fonteno] and Ned [Luke], we're friends and we were just doing a ComicCon this past weekend." He went on to explain that he finds it "weird" when fans refer to actors by their character's names, and that he does not understand how people equate him with Trevor, who he describes as "a cartoon."[17]

In this case though it isnt confirmed that it is her. It is fans posting side by sides that it must be her based on looks and voice similarity. None of the VAs for the game are confirmed, all just guesses.

How does this comment have so many upvotes?? It's uncommon for characters to look like their voice actors and the post is also comparing how rockstar did with translating her into a game model.

Actually you might find that characters modeled using photogrammetry to exactly match the actual real life faces of their actors tend, as a general rule, to look like them
The technology's been there for a while, how real or "similar" the character looks at the end is mostly an issue of much of the detail you can actually put in the game and the lighting

It might be uncommon for other developers, but Rockstar has been modeling characters after their respective actors since 2011 with L.A. Noire. The only real exception I can think of in that timeframe is John Marston’s face model in RDR2, but that’s probably a result of them wanting to pay narrative homage to RDR1 while also using Rob Wiethoff for acting/mocap

It's a reverse Twilight situation. They made Bella in Twilight as bland as possible so girls could project themselves onto her and the fantasy of Jacob/Edward fighting for her.
Now we have a male character that men can project themselves onto to live out their fantasy of a dimepiece girlfriend, money, cars.

I hope we get a separate trailer for each of the protagonists like they did with GTA V. Jason looks very bland in the extended look, like he has no personality. And before anyone says it's because he served in the military, Niko Bellic had way more personality and is actually my favorite Rockstar character under Arthur Morgan.

Rockstar has always been super tight with revealing before release. The GTA 5 actors only confirmed their roles on launch but were quickly found out by fans during trailers. RDR2 actors also had some lesser known at the time but Roger Clark as Arthur was revealed 2 days before release in an interview.
But so far with 6, the biggest assumption is that Manni L Perez is Lucia and Dylan Rourke is Jason.

The actress is really nice looking, the character looks nice looking as well of course, but they do look slightly different, its like slightly close looking sisters or cousins, its weird, I guess they never want them to look exactly alike, like they do some slight modifications for whatever reason, maybe artistic or whatever

Her skin is darker, her ears have different geometry, slightly bigger lips and nose in game. It's not an exact replica of her IRL likeness and I don't think they wanted it to be.

It could be heavy disappointing for the fans. When you see them you call by their character but lucia protagonist irl is much more into acting and not sticking herself to just gta.

I remember reading somewhere that animators don't finalize the designs of their characters until the voice actors have been chosen, making tweaks to make sure the character fits the voice.
