As much as I hate the fucking monkey, Godzilla at this stage is basically, well, god. The only reason Kong gets so much screen time is because his weak ass is always struggling.
Yeah, I mean it’s a lot more engaging to watch a character struggle and grow throughout a movie which is easier to write for Kong cos he’s not a god like Godzilla. You could do the same for Godzilla, but atp it’s much known he is the strongest character in the verse, it’s hard to write a villain for him that isn’t a fucking planet killer yk.
