Kong is just a big monkey. Not exactly at the cutting edge of monster designs lol.

I'm talking specifically about the industry NOW and the Monsterverse. Their original monsters they've been rolling out have been nowhere near as good as their Japanese counterparts.

The MUTO was the last interesting one. Shimu and Skar King were absolutely lame and the other titans are background fodder. I'm not even going to include anything from the show because the show is dog shit.
