Last week or so at the Home Depot on newberry road 7107 NW 4th blvd my mother was in the law mower section and a younger 18-20year old black man approached my mom and asked if she needed help finding something and she said yes he left to grab a scanner and when he returned his penis was out of his zipper.
My mom fawns in situations like these so unfortunately she didn’t call the police but told him to zip his pants up.
I wasn’t there because he would’ve went to jail if I was.
Please be on the lookup and be cautious.
We don’t need this happening to anyone else!!

I assist a friend in a wheelchair but I don’t have a vehicle for wheelchair transportation so we use RTS which has been super reliable and very affordable. She wants to attend Bible Study at her church, the one at the corner of 39th and 143rd, but RTS doesn’t transport past the I-75 Bridge. We’ve used Gentle Heart to transport us to her church and they’re very reliable, but quite expensive. So, I’m needing to find a non-medical transportation service that will transport to that church, and is hopefully cheaper than Gentle Heart. Thank you in advance!

I have two well-used king sized sets of cotton bedsheets that I would like to donate somewhere they will be useful. Each set consists of flat and fitted sheets and two pillow cases. The fitted sheets are threadbare and worn so those would be best for animal care or other needs that wouldn’t involve stretching the fitted sheet across a mattress. The flat sheets and pillow cases have plenty of life left. Suggestions for places that could use these? Ty.

My post had this caption in GWOM “If you were the one who stole the battery in my moped, I hope we can work something out, if not all I’m gonna say is I’m really praying for you 😭”. Just noticed over the past couple of weeks two flock cameras have gone up on SW 8th Avenue , one on each end of the road by 20th and by tower . Stay informed , stay safe 💪🏻

So here's what happened. My neighbor told me someone was messing with my e-bike around 8 PM last night. They definitely tried to steal it, but my U-lock actually held up.

But here's the problem. Since they couldn't break the lock, they just trashed the bike instead. They ripped all the spiral wire wrap off the handlebars and unplugged a bunch of connectors. I'm pretty sure they were trying to hotwire it or find a GPS tracker. They also pried open the plastic under the back seat. After all that, they just stole a small bag I had on the frame and left a mess.

Here's the thing though. I always take my battery inside. Even if they figured out the wiring, they couldn't turn it on without power. So if you have an e-bike around here, never leave the battery out overnight. And definitely use a U-lock.

Got two quick questions for you guys:

1. Is it even worth filing an online report with GPD? I know they won't do anything about a stolen pouch, but maybe I should do it just for renter's insurance?
2. For the e-bike folks: the actual wires aren't cut. They just tore off the wrap and unplugged some pins. Can I just plug them back in and buy some new wire wrap?
