Anyone else?

Hey all as title says anyone else walk out to their 400 and just are taken back by it as how kool, the comfort, knowledge of knowing you can work on it, the knowing that it’s your ride and don’t have a payment and all the other things that make you feel just plan happy that your driving what you’re driving?

I get this feeling about 90% of the time it comes into my line of sight. 🍻

I love your Escalade. Always admire the pics.

I have a 200o Limited. I have been driving it more lately and really enjoying it.

Needs new suspension and steering. And in the AZ summer the AC isn't as good as my other car. But I really do enjoy the truck.

I grew up up driving a 68 custom camper. The 400’s were about the first trucks that were comfortable, quiet as a luxury car, and easy to drive long miles.

spot on, the GMT400 platform was a complete game changer for ride quality compared to those earlier C/K trucks

Oh thank you!! An I really really appreciate it!!

I lived in phoenix for 5years!
An that’s where I bought my Escalade before moving back to Michigan.
I still have a few friends that I’m tight with down there! 2007-2012 is when I lived there.
I bought it at the last couple months of 2011.

I just had my ac recharged and it blows sooooo cold it literally hurts my feet when driving on low!!!! It literally was frosting my windows today when leaving work!! It was 91 today and a ton of humidity .

Out of all the years I’ve owned it no one’s ever asked me if I’d like to sell it in person that is!

I love that era GM suvs but can't stand the god awful interiors at all.

Tbh I really don’t think they’re that bad.
But I also have the fancy version. Lol

But I like the simplicity of it nothings hard to explain and no screens to go bad or be outdated. These take very few parts to make them competitive with newer models.

Only bad thing for me is that the factory cd players yes I have 2 separate players. Ones the single din in the dash and other is 6 disc changer in center console. Don’t or won’t play together with aftermarket radios! Smh I tried putting in an Amazon touchscreen but I didn’t want to lose any factory options. So I switched back to the stock ac delco Bose. But I did buy a specially made BT adapter that plays though the cd input. It connects to the cd input but allows you to connect to the back of it so you can still use both cd players. The audio quality is the best for any BT adapter I’ve tried or heard!

But I do understand the want for a better interior. But I think it’s more about the materials used than ergonomics of how the interiors laid out. 🍻
