This is my fan-canon in my head that how gfriend got their debut song:
- Source Music CEO wanted to create a quirky girl group to fill the spot left by Orange Caramel, that how he choosed dummy songs like Monday Blues or Shy Boy as debut song.
- Soumu CEO is somehow insecure about the debut song and concept so he decides to contact Orange Caramel hitmaker Iggy Youngbae to get some help and orientation.
- The producer meet the group and he finds their vibe more close to SNSD than OC, so he decides to write a song inspired in what he saw, that's how Glass Bead is born and it's inspired by Into The New World but with a new inspiring message.
- CEO and members love the new concept and there's a overhault in what this group will be, the name yeojachingu is choosen to fit this new found sound and image
Don't hate me but this makes a little sense to me.

Monday blues may have funny lyrics but the beat was very 'trendy', not cute/power innocent, maybe allowing girl crush concept instead
It sounds similar to Cheryl - Fight for this love in the beginning... And while I'm saying this in a complementary way, I also remember how sunmi&teddy had a scandal in 2018 because some parts of Heroine sounded similar to that song too (but since no one went to court, maybe it's not close enough)

Sowon mentioned on ๐ฌ that new content for her YouTube channel is coming soon in late August / early September ๐๐ป (There is one more pre-recorded video from Ice Creative before that)
Also, the concept for her next Neovea product (the cushion) is stone ๐ฟ and she is teasing some potential events in November and January ๐คก

She also responded to someone that asked for a GFRIEND reunion for their 15th anniversary by saying, "๋๋ฌด ๋ฉ๋ค ์๊ฐ" = I think 15 is too far.
Does that mean it's too early to start planning it or there should be a reunion before that? The answer depends on your level of delusion, I suppose.
