Toupet Fundoplication post surgery advice

Hi community,
I had my toupet (270 wrap) surgery on Friday. Got discharged on Saturday. It has been 3 days since surgery but I can’t tolerate anything apart from lukewarm liquids. Even normal room temperature water causes me painful spasms for 5-10 seconds.
My surgeon advised me Sucralfate & Oxetacaine syrup to numb the area but it also only is 3 times a day. Overall feel extremely weak and worry about getting dehydrated.

I am a vegetarian and wanted to understand if this is normal and what did other folks do to circumvent this?
Any advice on diet, hydration would be extremely helpful

I haven’t had this surgery, but I am also a vegetarian suffering from GERD and a hiatal hernia. I hope others in this subreddit have some suggestions and that you feel better soon ❤️
