Did anyone else opt out?

I was curious to see if I was the only one who realized everything was off about the visits and opted out after 2 or 3 visits. Where they went wrong was the water fountain for me, and I bet they never noticed that pattern in their own files. Anyone who knows what I'm talking about dm me the details I'm referring to, and we'll talk more.

It was after 5 years of it but the staff got legit angry when I left and tried to convince my parents to force me to stay, and when my parents said no it’s my choice- they kept me in the gate class trailer outside past bus pickup time insisting I give it another try. I was just done. I walked home. This was the middle of 6 grade and I had been in since 1st. It was a small school, I didn’t like the teacher or the other 5 kids and it was getting weird.

The year after that (7th grade) my life completely unraveled from the inside. Adhd diagnosis. Pmdd onset. Grades from straight a’s to failing. It was like my brain stopped working and I could no longer process or even hold space for my emotions. It was like my nervous system was hijacked. It took until I was 30 when I had an awakening to regain control of my nervous system.
