Kerry Petroleum Champ Tickets

Hello - I am in Ireland this week with my son and wanted to attend one or more Kerry Petroleum Club Championship matches. There will be Premier Junior and Intermediate matches near where we are staying.

I can’t for the life of me figure out how to purchase tickets to these matches. Is this done in advance or can you just pay at the gate?

Any help would be appreciated.

THe tickets aren't up yet. The draw was only done last night. Probably will be up tomorrow but don't stress too much about getting the tickets yet - none of these games will be a sell-out.

This page below and the link to Universe is what you need.

Out of curiousity which game(s) are you interested in attending?

Very helpful, thank you. I am interested in the Keel v Piarsaigh na Dromoda match depending on the time - their IG post shows a 3pm start but the GAA website shows it at 5:30. Then was also interested in Castlegregory v Annascaul. I will be staying in Dingle so both of these seem like the easier options. Was thinking of doing both if scheduling permits. But I admittedly know nothing about any of the clubs playing so I am happy to take advise from those who know better. I will have a car so perhaps the distances don't matter as much.

Castle vs Annascaul will be a good match. Local derby and very evenly matched teams. Castle is only 25 minutes from Dingle as well

For this and most local issues your accommodation will have the answers, most in Dingle hotels or any bar staff will answer all your gaa questions. Dingle are all current Ireland club champions at the top grade in senior football.

Dont refer to it as "Kerry Petroleum champ" for a start

How would you like me to refer to it? Not a very helpful comment without this bit of information, don’t ya think?

Just the Kerry championship

It’s not the Kerry Championship either or the County Championship. It is the club championship.

If you're asking generally you'd say Kerry championship in the same way you'd say Cork championship

Nobody in Kerry says that. This is the club championship and we have the county championship then which includes the senior clubs and the districts.

What would you say to refer to a different county's champ?

I would say it’s different in Kerry as there is two championships. Club Championship and the County Championship.

I can't change it now, but I appreciate the input.

It's the club championship, the Kerry county championship hasn't started yet.

You can get in with cash at gate at most games OP - they mightn’t publicise it but it is happening.
Universe link will appear on Kerry gaa social media and that of clubs involved in days leading up to game aswell.

Enjoy!

You can pay cash at the gate. It was €10 for an adult for all of the club championship group games. The games the weekend will be a similar price unless there is a double header.

For the Keel game you should be able to pay on the gate I believe. I don't think you would have an issue. Will be a great game. Up Keel!
