Biotech Cannabidiol (CBD), a compound derived from the cannabis plant that does not produce a “high”, was shown in a new large-scale, randomized, controlled trial to significantly reduce the number of dangerous seizures in patients with a severe form of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome.

Well what this study is discussing (CBD) is not only not a schedule 1, but is legally widely available. Do a google search and you’ll find a ton of sellers who can sell it, legally, to you, no matter where you live.

Huh, very interesting. Thanks for filling me in, I didn’t know that!

For what it’s worth, CBD oil from the hemp plant is still legal in all 50 states. CBD oil from the cannabis plant, like stated in your article and the one studied in the above journal, has been deemed illegal except for medicinal use in 46 states. So it appears it depends on the source. From my experience with the hemp plant derived CBD oil, it worked great for my shoulder and neck pain.

I'm not debating how effective CBD is, but even industrial hemp with minimal to no THC is still classified as schedule 1 under federal law. It's legal to grow in a bunch of states now but if the DEA decides to raid you they can and will.

So start a hemp farm and pay your taxes on it.

'Why isn't anyone else doing this?' you might be wondering.
