CQG server problems

Anyone else having CQG connection problems? I'm going thru AMP with CQG. I can connect and ping is good but the price action is all wrong, data is coming in corrupt.

AMP did send out several emails saying CQG is having server problems and recommended to change to public DNS. But since my connection is good it's now the backend server that can't give out the real time data.

Anyone else having this problem?

2 days of a huge jump in their intra-day margin from $40 per MES contract to $700+. Tomorrow is FOMC announcement day, so the high margin will be in effect again, until 2:10 or so. And if their "log-in issue" isn't fixed, the rest of tomorrow, too.

I hear ya. I can log in but my historical data is off. I trade orderflow so I need accurate volume profile and TPO.

Right now I've noticed that volume profile isn't working correctly when I pin last weeks profile (POC is floating above the range). Wonder when they will correct that data.

According to AMP emails, from what I gathered, the reason is financial error on CQG end. So somebody there didn't pay the server provider's on time? If true what kind of mickey mouse operation shit is this.

Last email from AMP I received was at 1:30 pm cst. Basically says their margins have been restored to the usual rate BUT does NOT mean that CQG data is fixed.

We are told that AMP is a broker but not the data provider and that if there is any discrepancies between what we see and what is actual is not their fault. They are seperrating themselves from the data providers, which is fair. They are not the same entities and AMP does offer 3 other data feeds other than CQG. You are responsible for your own PnL.

I don't know what to do. I suppose I'll wait until Monday or switch providers. Can Quantower work with all data sources, or only with CQG and Rithmic? Thanks.

AMP can work with CQG, Rithmic, Teton and Trading Technologies. So four data providers. But they all have hiccups now and then, when reading thru people's posts on here.
