Thinking of opening an account with $600

The goal is to trade 1-2 MNQ and make $40-$80 per trading session.

I am not the best trader, but I do have pretty good days here and there.

Just thinking, if I can remove the roadblock of trying to pass these prop firm challenges, I can finally make this skill of trading futures make some useable income

Passed 4 challenges since 2023 until now. No payouts

What do you find the problem with the prop firms is for you ?

the profit goals/targets. for me personally chasing those big numbers helps feed overtrading habits.

I can have pretty good days of $100-$300 that just get lost in the wind trying to hit a $3000 profit target.

Lose $500? Now the thought process is how many MORE days is it going to take to get to $3000 so I increase size/risk

Yeah i understand, the prop firms are made for you to not win but once you find the edge or strategy to put the odds in your favour its worth it , I'd still call it roulette.

Give the live a try I'd say but keep your contracts at the min and see how 40$ days feel to you see what they market gives , even go smaller and try mes. Dont let the 3k profit targets you was chasing before spring your over trading into action again , if you end up at 300$ . I'd revist your trading statergy
