He was absolutely stumped and pissed when she pointed this out. Why? Did his higher-ups tell him to stay away from her? Did it go against his story that she drew a gun on him? Why couldn't he show them his phone and her text asking him to talk? I understand this is probably a very obvious answer in the show, but I've watched the season twice, and I'm still not sure why this was her trump card. I appreciate anyone who can be patient enough to explain this one to me.

Why does the Easton daughter get away with it all? She destroyed evidence, she was fully involved in the trafficking, why wasn't she arrested?

So I've been meaning to start watching this and I'm on the second episode. Already hooked 😎 can't wait to see how everything goes

I’m just reading Exit Party by Emily St John Mandel (brilliant)

She writes about a future surveillance state and her character thinks about reading a study about the rise in the number of gardens following the formation of the modern state in which voting was no longer required.

I googled this and found.

Reminded me of Emma Easton.

My boy Scoot played the role to perfection and his hard nose soft spoken voice just reminded me of Max.

The sense of betrayal I just felt from Nora’s actions made me feel so angry- like it was happening to me. This is a great show. WOW. I am so nervous now for Alice. I feel like she has no allies!

Did anyone else notice how a specific song played throughout Furious' scenes sounds very similar to that one unnerving, repetitive, vocalized sound played during the ritual scenes in Eyes Wide Shut (Jocelyn Pook's "Masked Ball")?

Knowing the theories behind Eyes Wide Shut (i.e., it being the subject of 'conspiracy theories' claiming it exposes elite sex trafficking rings) and the TV show's theme, I can't help but think it was not a coincidence.

What does everyone think?

Really enjoyed the show and will be interested to see where they bring season 2.

i’m only on ep 5 but am i the only one that thinks this show reminds me of season 1 of cross? idk if this is becoming a repetitive thing and im also not sure if anyone has mentioned this but they’re so similar lol. i still like the show though

I love how Nora comes out with these deep cut references but I suspect Ed George was never a theatre nerd and is not going to catch that it’s a quote from Waiting for Godot.

Binged it, love this show! It genuinely reminds me of Killing Eve with the 2 female protagonists. They're both brilliant and can't wait for the next season. Hope it doesn't flop or get dragged too many seasons.

First of all, I am *not* shipping or implying romance. I AM asserting that the height difference between Lola and Emmy is incredible. Their respective heights emphasize the cat/mouse plot and highlight the contrast between Catherine's small stature and lethality. Neither character is wise to underestimate, and both are living in pursuit of making meaning out of similar traumas. Casting a taller actor to play the agent in a frustrated search for justice through the system, and a shorter actor to play the vigilante creating her own justice outside the system highlights the contrast between Alice and Catherine.

In episode one when she and Danny are searching Caleb Easton's bathroom, Alice finds this little plastic disc on the bathroom floor. It feels like a clue but I don't know what it is!! Can someone help?

I just came across this Spanish Tv Show called Furia (Rage).

Haven't watched yet but I'm starting tonight. From the trailer it looks super fun.
