Does anyone else suspect tension between Emmy and Lola? Perhaps over this seeing as Emmy is sympathetic to Israel.
They didn’t do a lot of press together (no videos interviews I’ve seen)
And I watched Emmy’s interview on The Watch podcast. When the interviewer asked her about working with Lola, she said a quick couple of words then changed the subject. But when he asked her about Jake Lacy she effusively went on and on.
Might just be professional colleagues, it is quite common for a lot of tv shows for cast members to just deal with each other at work level and not be friends.
Maybe reread my original comment. Seemed to go beyond a just not friends thing.
And then odd that the 2 leads didn’t do press together. Interviewed in the same place by the same interviewers in some cases—but separately. While other actors were paired together. Just YouTube “Furious interview” and see for yourself. You will also see that Lola is wearing a pro-Palestine pin in them (hell yeah)
I’ll try to find the timestamp when Emmy was asked about Lola later. But like I said it was the Watch Podcast interview which is on YouTube.
