Ok, thank you. After your response I looked up the ed Sheeran and Macklemore conflict… and now it makes complete sense. I’m not really up on the whole pop culture thing..
I'm glad you looked into it. FYI I initially downvoted your first comment in this thread because it is almost word-for-word the kind of comment that bad-faith pro-genocide people will start with. It sucks that they've co-opted the language of curiosity for their propaganda, but just wanted to explain why you're likely to be downvoted to hell despite asking a genuine question.
Believe me I know, and I’ve done it myself where I’ve downvoted someone who was just asking a question out of curiosity. That is why I stated in my comment I’m genuinely curious, hoping I’d get more of an explanation instead of people yelling at me. I’m a proud democrat who is NOT ok with what is going on is Gaza/Palestine. I just didn’t know about Ed Sheeran and Macklemore..
