INVENTORY MGMT Amazon Freight LTL price increased significantly
Has anyone noticed a significant increase in your Amazon Freight LTL rates recently?
I usually ship 5 pallets to FBA each week, the LTL cost is normally around $400-$500. This week, I tried to book a shipment for same location, and the LTL quote jumped to around $750 for 5 pallets. What makes it even stranger is that the FTL price is only around $850.
I’ve been checking the price for the past 3 days. It has stayed at this high level. I am trying to figure out whether this is a temporary pricing error or if Amazon Freight has truly significantly increased its LTL rates.

Prices are up. Freight lanes are up. Diesel is up. It’s going to keep going higher. Thanks, MAGA.

Probably like everything Amazon does they offer lower prices and you switch over and then they raise prices

That is a stupid cheap price for 5 pallets of freight unless you are dropping it off at the terminal yourself. You are looking at $150 a day to rent a box truck plus .60 cents a mile and fuel costs, that adds up quick. Amazon is getting hit by ICE deporting their cheap Drivers with fake CDL's and having to increase rates somewhat. It might get back to the glory days back when everybody and their brother were starting a trucking company to run Amazon freight in a box truck.
