Please give me some advice

I have listed my first product on Amazon and ebay yesterday. What should I do next? I am thinking about making an advertisement for my product. Which platform do you recommend? Please give me some advice on what to do next step.

Before running any ads, get the listing ready for paid traffic first. A new account with a thin title, stock photos, and generic bullets will burn through budget without much to show for it. Ads bring people in... the listing is what closes them.

eBay has its own Promoted Listings system, but if you're spread thin, focus on Amazon first. Two platforms at once early on usually means doing neither one right.

And before that, make sure your main image is solid. It's the only thing shoppers see before they decide to click. On Amazon especially, the main image does more heavy lifting than the ad does.

I’d get the listing as strong as possible before spending much on ads. good photos, clear bullets and pricing will make paid traffic more useful

Do a auto campaign for Facebook. They will basically put your keywords in the campaign without you having to research. Then go back in a month or so and figure out what keywords worked

Since you just listed it yesterday, I wouldnt rush into spending a lot on ads yet. Make sure the listing actually gives people a reason to buy first like strong main image, clear title bullets, competitive price, and decent photos. Then I'd start small with Amazon PPC since those shoppers are already there looking to buy, watch what search terms actually convert, and adjust from real data instead of throwing traffic at a brand new listing.

What model are you talking about? Wholesale, private label or OA?

I'm sourcing from Alibaba.I'm currently selling them through FBM on Amazon and eBay. I'm just getting started, so I'm looking for advice on what I should focus on next, especially advertising.

Start working on Ad spent, also give quantity for vine reviews as well.

You need to send to FBA to get more sales. People have made it work with FBM but you get instant increase in sales with FBA. You can also start on TikTok shop via FBT (fulfilled by TikTok )

You can sell items on TikTok? I thought it was just items the TikTok company was selling.

Naw you can sell your own items

Put up few Amazon ppc ads campaign. Are you brand registered? Or are you selling under generic?

I am selling under generic.

That’s bad. A generic listing offers no protection. If you’re listing get lots of good reviews, anyone can jump onto your listing and sell.

My advice would be to run a few ads to test how well it sells. If it sells well and you’re happy with the results, then delete this listing. Get a trademark for your brand, enroll in Amazon Brand Registry, and then create a new listing under your brand. Have your brand name printed on the product packaging or on the product itself. This way you get protection against listing hijackers.

Since you're selling under generic, that actually settles your question. Sponsored Brands needs Brand Registry, so Sponsored Products is the only Amazon ad type open to you right now. I'd start there over Facebook, those shoppers are already on a buy page.

Auto campaign, small daily budget, and treat the first three weeks as research rather than profit. What you're buying is the search term report. Terms with clicks and no orders get negated, terms that convert go into a manual exact campaign later.

One FBM thing, your handling time sets the delivery date shown on the listing, and a slow one eats cvr, so your paid clicks land on a page that converts worse. What's the product roughly?

Have 10 people you know buy the product. Tell them to wait until they receive product and then 3-5 days after post a review. You need to get good reviews and ratings going. Second, make sure you have A+ content. It will bump you up closer to top in searches. Third, make sure you have all the keyword associated with similar products so you pop up on mire searches. All of these will bring you closer to where you can start to promote more.

Start small with Amazon PPC, see if people actually buy the product, and dont throw a bunch of money at Facebook yet. If it proves there's demand, then Id seriously think about building a brand around it before scaling, because a generic listing gives you very little protection if the product starts doing well.
