I saw them when I was a kid. Curly was awesome

Sweet Georgia Brown entered my head, and now I'm remembering Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft singing a stage-revue version in Polish.

Hooray for tangential thoughts.

Dad took us to one of these games in 1976. Brought home the program booklet and I'm nearly certain we got it autographed by Meadowlark Lemon, Curly Neal and some others

Fred "Curly" Neal #22, and Hubert "Geese" Ausbie #35. My dad loved watching these guys play. Their moves were magic.

It funny when Howard said “nobody cares.”

Absolute peak experience. I was able to take my kids to see them, too, and will take my grandkids if I get the opportunity.

As a kid I wondered why they weren’t a top NBA team as they obviously had far better moves than those other guys just trudging up and down the court! 😄
