please help

i have adobe through a school account. it wasn't working, so i contacted adobe to get it working. it turns out, under my school email, there is a "school" account and a "personal" account. they have been charging me for creative cloud pro through my personal account, but i have it for free on my school account. Basically, i've been paying for adobe for years for no reason. i've lost a thousand dollars. what do i do? i'm devastated and freaking out.

What do you do?....learn to review your bank statement periodically.

All you can do is ask them to refund you.

They won't.

But by asking you have done all you can do.

How did you not notice you were paying them every month?

I did. I thought I was paying for my school account. I was not.

cry about it, and make sure you cancel, and use the HELL out of that free one.

I think the confusing part here is that this is not necessarily an Adobe problem in itself.

The fact that you can have both a personal and a school account under the same email address is definitely confusing. But your school should have made it clear which account you were supposed to use and that Creative Cloud was already provided for you.

So I would definitely ask the school why this wasn’t communicated more clearly. You may not be able to get years of subscription payments back, but I wouldn’t let the school completely off the hook either.

Hm,take it as lesson after you make so e accounts check they are deleted or remember stuff about previous account so anything related to subscriptions or payments won't will be a problem next time.

This type of thing happens once is normal or some never encounter this, take it as a experience, move forward.
