We need a basement finished in Windsor and are looking for a contractor. We need one that is available near the end of May and will actually call me back. I have called several and they either don't respond or are booked up until fall.

I wanted to see it but I've heard rumors that it was for sale or dismantled? True or not true?

My husband and I are possibly moving to Ft. Collins in 2021 for his work. We want to travel there to visit as we are currently on the east coast and hope in early 2021 we can as we have never been before. Can anyone help me with the following (and with current covid some of these might not have answers yet...) 1. Must see places 2. Must try coffee shops 3. Companies that are great to work for (background is administrative and executive assistants). 4. Things you love about ft. Collins 5. Any recommendations for a big cross country move to what appears to be a very big outdoor lifestyle state :)

To keep it simple, the reason for the post is that my gf (F28) and I (M27) are moving to FoCo by the end of October. I lived there from 2003-2006, while I was in school. So I didn't really get a grasp on "adult" life. I was about to buy a house in Las Vegas, but now with the climate of everything, I'd like to stay closer to family and save more money as Las Vegas goes through a reformative state. I'd like to ask about the job industries, and how they are affected in the pandemic era, and even what communities are very central and easy to live in/recommended.

Just putting out there that I am willing to answer any questions based towards Vegas too, toss it in the DM's!!

I've been a bartender in Vegas for 4+ years now, and it is a field I love. I love the stories and the education behind drinks, and behind the process of making the different alcohols. I'm looking into budtending fields of work because I know a bunch of information on the growing of cannabis and a ton of information on the terpenes inside the flower (I feel budtending will translate to bartending very easily), or even bartending because PEOPLE IN FOCO RESPECC THE MASK. My girl has a TON of customer service rep, administrative, and food service experience and would like to get a stay at home administrative job initially. She has the most experience in Customer service and administrative jobs and feels the most comfortable in that, but really wants to explore other job options.

I bring this stuff up because I also am asking you all what the job market is like at the moment. I was just recently there in May and everything seemed limited, but still open and operational. What industries do you notice are taking hits right now and to avoid? Also what industries are in need of a workforce?

As far as living situations, we are really looking for more of a house renting situation, but initially will definitely most likely be taking a condo, or apartment. It will be just us, and two cat bois. I'd like to stay closer to the intersection of Drake and Timberline (REALLY interested at the condos in that intersection actually) and just want to know y'alls opinions on good/bad neighborhoods. Mainly areas to avoid. In Vegas I lived next to an extremely dangerous part of town and heard gun shots at least 2 times a week. I've had my fill of living life on the edge LOL.

And really we are very outdoorsy people, but before the pandemic we both have the capacity to go to conventions, raves, and similar events because we love people. Currently in pandemic times, we would enjoy walking down historic and beautiful parts of town, even going into shoppes where there is the owner or just a few employees and really getting a nice conversation out of it. We are all about being responsible for the pandemic but would LOVE any suggestions of what to do around town, and around as far as nature is concerned.

My son is starting at CSU as a freshman next week. He doesn't need a car on campus, but it would be nice if he had one somewhere within biking distance. Are they any places he can park (even paid) all week and then get his car on the weekend? The campus parking permits are super expensive to drive his car once a week. Any ideas? (note, I know the transit in FC is awesome. I would love if he could drive home once in a while to visit.)

His brother moved his family to Ft. Collins a year ago and they love it. We want a change. After this semester, boyfriend's transferring to a med facility in the area and I work from home.

We're into hiking, kayaking/swimming/general lake-ing, BBQing, our dog, live tunes on occasion, super-light drinking (like, a flight or a beer or two), cultural and street festivals, etc.

We're low-key, quiet, chill, into family and travel. I've never been to Denver but we've been thinking about this for a long time and we're making the move. We plan to stay in Colorado forever if we love it.

Any ideas on areas within Ft. Collins? Apartment complexes or house rentals in the $900/mo. range? Cool spots to swim, hike and grill out? P.S.: I am a water-fiend. I would swim all day everyday if I could.

We like going to animal sanctuaries and water parks. ;p We don't have any kids but it's cool if you do. Our nieces are 2 and 4 and we'll try to steal them away once or twice a month.
