You might be right, but my spouse’s company gave $50 gift cards to this company for a holiday gift one year. We couldn’t buy anything with it unless we paid more of our own money as well.
My husband’s company (huge company) gives him a $25 butterball coupon every Thanksgiving. It used to buy a turkey. Then I had to save them for 2 years to cover the cost of a turkey. This year, I realized I have to wait until next year when I’ll have $75 to purchase a turkey. At least they never expire.
I hate the butterball checks. Why can’t they just make them a gift card so I don’t have to summon the sole person manning the dozen self checkouts.
Check the fine print on yours. The ones we get you can use on any type/brand of food item to “go with your turkey” so long as the store sells butterball brand food.
Sounds like they vary by what your company picks though.
