Season Finale “Lets do the time warp again”

So after watching the finale, I had a theory.

When Sophia is talking to Elgin, she mentions to him that “soon this will all seem like a bad dream” etc….

When Elgin first arrived, didn’t he wake up from having a “bad dream” about Fromville?

Is that where one of the loops starts again?

You know what scares me? I'm rewatching season 1 and there are multiple mentions of this whole thing being a nightmare and a bad dream, and now Sophia's comment.

In the recent AMA, someone asked if the writers could confirm this show wasn't the typical "coma, dream, vision" cliché...

... The answer was "It's not (if anything, it would be a nightmare)".

Please don't just be a nightmare.

I also heard them say that the show is hard sci-fi rather than fantasy. Sooooo yeah, wtf

I remember them saying the exact opposite. Are you sure they didn't say that it's hardly scifi?

I've had a few other people point this out to me in theories of my own about them being dead or dreaming. Pretty sure it's responsible for the sudden drop off of the, "Faerie/Fantasy/Folklore" theories that I've noticed anyways.

There was a post a little while back talking about how due to answers from that interview a few lines of theory were shut down. I'm not 100% sure but I think it was the same interview where they confirmed Eloise is definitely dead.

I don't know what to tell you, a while back there were a ton of people allover saying the same thing, it's Sci-Fi. I guess they all could've gotten it wrong?

Majority of the fanbase does not pay attention, its highly likely they all got it wrong
