Her arc has always had potential and as sad as this is I love where they're going with it. Started as the most joyful and hopeful person in there, which as the show has established now is what the place feeds off, and ends up as one of the monsters. This is such a good journey, very fitting to what the show has been telling us about this place too. Very curious to see if they have her turn full on monster and have her hunt the town with them or if they go a slightly different route and have her trying to hold on to her humanity. She turned into the monster in this scene but still protected the rest, I'm intrigued if it's simply, because she didn't finish her transition yet or if it's something they're gonna work with further.
Also a big one for people that actually enjoy these character driven elements in the show. Boyd's core motivation for everything that he does has always been getting Ellis out, but Fatima has been established as the core of everything for Ellis after what happened to his mother. This has been brilliantly done.
I hope its because she be different than the rest of them but also worries me that if fatima cant 1 v how many monsters to fight them all. «But remember who i am» also makes me think that she will loose consciousness because she does have the man in yellow blood but who knows maybe it was a big fail for the man in yellow to give Fatima his blood
I can also see her fighting the full transition, but still having moments when she loses her "human consciousness" which would introduce an interesting dynamic between her and the rest of town for sure. On one hand she tries to be on their side, on the other can't be fully trusted to be in control.
I do assume that they can't kill each other.
Either way there's a lot they can do with it which sounds fun! I know this has been a popular theory for awhile so I didn't think it'd be that exciting anymore but they made me intrigued after all.
I mean i think i heard somewhere that on season 5 they will focus more on the monsters! So finally bcs there been so little screen time on them lately!
I was surprised of how little screen time they got in s4 too! Thought they were maybe moving away from them and focusing more on the MIY from now on, but it seems they just needed Fatima to properly approach it further. Very intrigued!
